@rony is the uran chirner road in mint condition??otherwise you can even take the nh17 from kalamboli as you will join the road ahead enroute.....

jnpt just provides a bypass(very good condition) to panvel & thts it

Dk bhau these guys are taking that route as per the map.......thats why i asked them whether the road is good otherwise the jnpt one is the best.....only 10 odd kms or so will be added to the odometer by taking the jnpt wala route!!!!

Hey we will be taking the vashi bridge to reach new mumbai hence palm beach road would be better for us .... kalamboli would be a bit far ..... btw is anything wrong with the proposed route bhau ?

Nothing is wrong with that route either...the McD route makes it a very simple straight till the point where road joins the JNPT. The other route will take you on the service road for some distance n then join JNPT which is pretty long...you eventually come the junction which goes to the McD at Kalamboli...also when you return, you can miss the right turn which will bring you on the Chirner-Belapur road...the next U-turn is pretty far...and has 30m of off roading...

Kalamboli McD is not in the picture at all ... I dont know how it keeps on coming ... the route which is proposed starts from palm beach goes through gavhaan faata (uran road - jnpt junction) and straight to chirner which will bypass karnala bird sanctuary and join NH17 after few km .... please check the map .. If any one has taken this route before then please confirm the condition ! ... while returning we will be taking NH17 only throughout !

Putting an end to speculation and confusion, I put down the final list + route for tomorrow's beach ride

PS: With majority of riders doing this route for the first time (including me) its going to be an exploration kind of ride so please be ready for those bad roads and wrong turns !!

Note: I will be meeting Samarth at Bisleri junction at sharp 5:30am then we would meet chicmagnet & nikhil (and may be prateek) at JVLR junction at sharp 5:35am and would ride together to belapur phata where we would meet rest of the junta along with danveer gautam_k at sharp 6:30am .... the ride will begin at sharp 6:45am ..... later comers can drop a sms and meet us at vadkhal junction on NH17 directly

dude my village is just 3km before chirner, till chirner and forward road is in good condition..
but dont know thereafter, but my bro told me that the road is good till it joins Pen highway...
he stays at chirner..
so i can trust on his words..
