I am thinking to cut short the ride till revdanda only so that we get to spend some quality time at alibaug, nagaon and revdanda beaches instead of just skimming through them (Also thinking to visit those forts). Planning to cover kashid and murud beaches on a separate ride. What say guys?

just goto alibaug (very bad beach) -- hitch a boat ride to fort if possible

before alibaug 8-10 kms on the same road is nagaon beach - much better to spend time

by afternoon after lunch head towards murud road - as you cross a long bridge take a immediate right

go ahead a few minutes & on the right its written korlai--the road goes straight --rite upto the light house.

its a small fort surrounded by sea from 3 sides & takes 20 mins to climb up

good option for photography

@ALL .... As mentioned in my post, the route was proposed for discussion & not final .... so chill .... I think we will cut short our trip by visiting Alibag, Nagaon, Revdanda and Korlai beaches only as suggested by dk bhau !! ...... And yeah photography is surely a part of this leisurely ride as mentioned in the ride description !

Thank you very much DK bhau for those suggestions !! ..... I guess Nagaon beach comes after Alibaug and Thal comes before as per google map ..... Anyways are you not suggesting us to visit Revdanda beach + fort which is on the way to korlai ?.. I heard its a picturesque beach .... Can you suggest a good place to have a VEGETARIAN lunch ?

@ALL ..... As per ride description we are avoiding night riding making sure we reach mumbai limits before the sun sets !

Well,the place can be crappy but our stuff shouldnt get stolen lol. And what area is mumbai is good to roam? It should have a awesome night life type also..... Actually i am from the U.S, so i have never been to mumbai either so i want to experience the mumbai life style... and my friends dont know anything about mumbai either......

We plan to roam all night and drink and party.... Go to clubs and all that. which is why i am asking in which part of mumbai is good to check out. sight seeing is part of the plan but maybe 1 or 2 places. the rest of the time in clubs drinking and more drinking. because in the "great state" of gujarat, its illegal to drink.... although that hasnt stopped anyone either..... & thnx
