Plan:
Meet at Panvel MCD by 7 AM-leave from there by 7:30AM-reach Lavasa by 10AM-have a chit-chat session-do some cornering stuff-leave from there by 1PM and reach back to Mumbai by 3:30PM.

1)Helmet
2)Riding jacket/Any thick jacket with elbow guards

thats so NOT a group ride. And when i clicked, i thought only some of the riders must be crazy...but the entire group was out of their minds

Any senior rider wants to join us n00bs?
I have some experience riding on twisties and all...what exactly is dangerous about this road? I mean what should we be prepared for? And why the heck are you not joining us?

if you want more riders (especially senior riders) to join in, keep it on a weekend...simple
even i wanted to come but i have to go work on my final year project every weekday till the college reopens

+1 to that.. Most of the rides happen on Sunday's there are people who are regulars on Sunday rides..

If you keep it on Sunday the number of riders will go high for sure..

There is a reason for it.On Sunday's the place will be somewhat crowded && we first timers won't be able to enjoy th,e twisties as other experienced riders would be scrapping their knees & flaunt cornering skills there.Also there is a HONDA Road safety rally,supported by Xbhp held on 9th arranged by our Xbhp member Dazzler.A separate thread for it will be made soon.

@Guys coming for tommorow's ride:Tailgunner is joining us too.He will meet us at Panvel MCD.

Wow! You guys have been busy! And controversial photos too! Nice! Memories of all similar photos in my previous rides came rushing in - though not as severe as the crack one, but still. Of particular interest is the sandwich video by Shadowboy - god bless you for capturing the hilarious moments! I assume you still treasure such pics on your HDD?

That my friend is very true and not everyone on streets are as responsible riders like xBHP member trust me my personal experience. Anyways enjoy your ride and do post some pics here also report on current road condition... I am thinking of different place for this Sunday ride rather than usual Lonavala...

and I did read about the safety rally but haven't seen any details on it

Hi, I am a sadist, I used to "punish" myself in that route all the time while coming back from Pune :P Ask my Raakshash brother RishabH about it!

(Its a different topic that I got lost there in the Goa ride (or so they claim!) )

It will be big task. 1st make a round of exact 600m & then to ride on it. That is the big punishment.
