      Well I don't know if it is this bad; when I wanted to do this road on my recent trip to Erode, everyone cautioned to stay away stating that its not worth saving the fuel or the distance. But anyway that was by 4 wheeler

      Lets take a call, be it bad roads or not, lets ride. Probably, we should expect the roads to be bad & plan the time accordingly to reach by 4:00 PM. If the roads are good, we'll take good breaks in between.

      Yes, very little distance for your guys from BLR; probably a little over 2 hours while it would be a little over 4 hours from Chennai.

            although. i am a little confused on how exactly this is going to work (in terms of the details of the ride such as timings, cost and tentative plan)

                                @xinfii/aargee: Do you know exactly which section of the road is in a bad state?

                                I am getting idea of doing a scouting the route ride, haven't been on a highway for almost 6 months anyhow
