right now, all that i have planned is for Valparai and Athirapally. Yet to finalise on other places. This is gonna be 3 days trip, extendable to one more day if needed.

Do not Miss: Aaliyaar Dam, Sholayar Dam, Forest roads from Sholayar to Athirampalli, Vazhachal Falls and Athirampalli Falls

Contact mechanic Raju @ 09895787242 if you have any problems with your Bike. He stays near Chalakudy and will be of some help.

There would be No mechanic, No shops and hardly any traffic in the forest roads from Sholayar to Athirampalli.

So think TWICE before going Solo in that route

Okay! The dams are full.. First time i hear the Sholayar dam being full! You would have fun riding in that stretch, best part is that you would seriously feel closer to Nature

The forest road between Valparai - Athirapally is real tough to do solo IMO. Be prepared to ride on very bad roads for 3-4 hours continuously.. stop at valparai and have a good meal, make sure you concentrate extra hard cos' you tend to drift away when you ride on such hard roads for too long, take some salt along to handle leeches if you take butt breaks in the forest.. and if you don't mind being slow tail a fourwheeler atleast for the initial 10-15 kms of thick forest roads. my 2 cents..

You can RIP / Test your R15 on way back from Bangalore this Sunday.. If you are to test it on the trip.., we would end up tailing you by kilometers
