Try Dollars and Pounds on Sardar Patel Road, near Liu's Chinese Restaurant - I saw some biking gear there on the first floor. They have jackets, armor, gloves and even pants and boots. I have no idea of the quality though.

I'd suggest a mesh jacket for Chennai if you can get it.

They stock up Cramsters + FAKE AlpineStars / Fox Racing / JOE Rocket riding Jackets. Got many options for Leather / Mesh ones. FAKE ones arent worth 6000 Rs. You get the same for 3000 in Delhi

That was one of the places which I visited to look for gear. I had no idea they stocked cramster but what they have, it is bit of a joke. For that money, I can get a DSG Nero or Falcon

I'd suggest a mesh jacket for Chennai if you can get it.

I too had a suspicion that they might be fake - that's why I put a rider on their quality in my earlier post - didn't want to outright say it though without being sure!

But to be honest - I only got a doubt about them because of the pricing. I had a doubt that original Rocket/Alpinestars could be available at such throw away prices. Their fakes though seem to be pretty good, at least to my untrained eyes. That's why I couldn't say with confidence that they were actually fake.

I have a Cramster Breezer 2.0 which I bought from the company store at Cunningham Rd, Bangalore and they had a similar piece in the store here too. I had a close look and frankly couldn't say for certain that it was a fake. Do you think that the Cramsters are fake too?

Anyways, thanks for clearing the air regarding the authenticity of the goods at Dollars and Pounds.

Raghav, As said before,Count me as tentative. I was shortlisted in the written & I'm preparing for the TMB interview which is gonna held on monday.. I might pop in according to the reaction given by my parents.

It could be a old / damaged product. I had confirmed it once from the Bangalore - Cramster shop if Dollars & Pounds, Chennai makes orders from them. Also, the shop in chennai confirmed that they could provide a bill for cramster products if bought by a order.
