Hi guys, am leaving tomorrow (25th) for a 9 day ride to Kemmangundi, Kudremekh, Marvanthe, Goa..will be returning on Jan 2nd.

Breakfast: Hotel Mamalla

If you want to enjoy the chill ride, would expect you to be there by 6 AM.
I shall wait till 6:15 AM at Besant Nagar Beach and head slowly towards Tiger Caves.

I too am planning to join the ride, but I cannot say anything as of now. It has been a pretty hectic week at the office, and it is supposed to be the same till Feb. BTW, how far is this view point/Tiger Caves from Bessy? Any idea how much time it would take to get back? And, PM me your mobile number. If at all I would be joining you, I would inform you the same.

The distance between Besant Nagar beach and Tiger Caves is around 40 approx. So it should not take more than 30-45 mins to reach the spot ideally.

Yes, yes, I WILL be there to Bessy & ride up with Sriram. I'll give a company for Dio tomorrow all way from AN to Tiger caves. Will ride slowly for you.

Two ways...
1. AN - Koyambedu - Ashok pillar - Ekattuthangal - Kathipara - Guindy - Saidapet Court - Anna University - Madhya Kailash - Adyar Signal & little further - Turn right towards Bessy.

2. AN - Koyambedu - Maduravoyal - Chennai Bye-pass - Porur - Manapakkam - CTC - Kathipara - Guindy - Saidapet Court - Anna University - Madhya Kailash - Adyar Signal & little further - Turn right towards Bessy

I usually follow route #2, but if you want, I can follow route #1 for you tomorrow. Pls confirm with a call or SMS. Tks.

hey aren't both the routes pretty long ... ???? i'd say if we go like from ampa mall.. thru loyola..to kotturpuram..then IIT ..then cut near adyar towards bessy beach ??

Its better to enjoy traffic free straights in the cool morning than several turns. Both works almost the same time in the morning.

Two ways...

The chennai byepass connects to tambaram no? Where does the Porur comes in between? Should we have to jump from the flyover?

This is also fine as well as I know this.

OT : a car actually scratched my bike and leg to the left side just half an hour ago and that guy being my friend's uncle dint tell anything just told him i will talk to my friend and he can go now!! Grrrr and just came to know that he is new to driving cars damn a classy finish to the Christmas!
