Videocon Ducati MoBiking India G2G Meet - CHENNAI

The Ducati team is expected to arrive chennai late afternoon from Bangalore. They have charted out few location where they would be showcasing the bike. However, they are planning to be at CitiCenter, Mylapore for a brief time on Wednesday December 22nd.

Sunilg would like to have a meet with Chennai xbhphian so that there is a maximum turn out.

If we can fix Wednesday 6 PM at Citicenter would that be possible to attend?

Agreed about the traffic at that time. Also, I got night shift at 10 pm same day and day before so I need to check if I can have enough sleep before I start for the G2G. I will surely try to come and bring my Cam if possible . Fingers crossed !!!

I understand it would be really difficult for you. I don't think we could do anything on their plans. If you could get some permission and get off office quick would be in on time. Again, suit yourself.

Word of advice - if the timing of the meet isn't great (and I know how horrible peak hour traffic is in Chennai especially around that area) then talk to Sunny/OldFox and see if it can be moved around. They have some flexibility and maybe they can complete their commitments to Ducati and Videocon and have a meet later in the evening with you guys at Bessy or something.

For a large number of bikes meeting up in the evening I think Bessy is a bad idea. Hotel President near Citi Center has a decent sized parking lot. Maybe you can speak with the management there. The Russian cultural center is not too far away and has a decent facility for a meet/photo shoot.

Think of a place with a large walled-off parking lot with decent affordable food and approach the management. Someone take ownership of this and talk to Sunny/OldFox so they can match their program.

Saying this because it looks like a lot of people cannot make it and that would be a shame. If they are in Chennai the next day as well then perhaps an early morning ride to Fort St. George?

BTW - Fort St.George is an AWESOME location for a photo shoot...
