@rameshmadhavan: I went to Kanyakuari on a solo ride, in Sep,'10...Itook the NH45 route, not the coastal, and made the way in just close to 10 hours...the road is pretty awesome and you might prefer that as a definite option...the last 50-60KM was thrilling, as the wind-mills are pushing strong gush of wind to push you off the rode and I had to cling on right-side of my bike @90KMPH to cross that......have a happy riding, safe riding

So it does have alarm connected or should be done manual lock like wheel locks? How does it work?

Ram, I'll give you a demo in the month of Jan; that is when I get my disc lock alarm from US. Mine is almost the same as what Adi has.

If I am not wrong, Aargee has ordered or brought one. He might help.

Hmm...I'm not that inclined towards BMW cars or motorcycles. Too much techy stuffs. Frankly speaking, I almost never paid attention to his motorcycle

hey, guys i'm planning on going to goa before the end of the year, i was wondering where i can get supplies in chennai, and where can i get a jacket and gloves etc. if you can let me know it'll be of great help. till now all trips have been very short, karaikal, sriharikota etc. that range oly. so didnt bother much about riding gear. so let me know where i can get the required stuff..............

The alarm is in built to the security lock. Thus gives very little chance for any intruders to fiddle with it. The lock is built such a way that it is very difficult to break through unless if the thief is smart enough to counter.

Chennai is not the place for buying Riding gears & stuffs except Lids. Better head to Bangy or get one in Goa itself. Below is the link.

Ram - I don't whether it would be great or not, but, that security lock is awesome & I need one of that kind to protect. Here's the math I did

Myself & Haroon met between 4:00 to 5:00 PM; that was an awesome meet; though I wanted to get on to some place, sit relaxed & speak, the conversation got so interesting that I almost forgot we were standing & speaking!!!

Haroon ji - I respect your patience; after seeing the crowd & how you handle them, I'm simply blown away. I don't want to own any superbikes in this country. Sorry I'm not matured enough for it I admit!!!

Thanks Ganesh for meeting up. It was a really nice chat we had and 1 hour just flew by without knowing. Sure sbk touring has its pluses & minuses. Anyway, by gods grace me & wife successfully finished the trip without any issues and arvd back in bangalore today, though with a lil sore bottom.

Ahem!......Pardon my ignorance - but what is a 'Photo-walk' ??

Photowalking is the act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that the photographer may find interesting.

^ He means to say the coming weekend photography enthusiasts will meet and go to the places as mentioned above for clicking picture. This would be a good session for beginners to learn photography from 'Hero Ananth', so that this villain would be taught lessons.

Ananth, am in... But lets keep the places to minimum as I said before. Lets spend more time on pics than travelling. Too much travel and we will be tired to concentrate to take snaps! I actually thought of a different set of places - Crocodile park and Mahabalipuram, but we can stick to urs. Lets have Vandalur zoo and snake park alone da... Lets concentrate more on photography than travel/places.

Fine, Point agreed, We will keep it one at a time. Vandalur to start with. If we are done wit it around 2/3 PM - We will think about any other place, Suitable to all.
