The ride will just be about 40-50kms max one way. Yes we will touching the Bangalore-Mysore highway , but will not be staying on it for long.

it will not be a complete highway ride to Manchanbele you will have to do a bit of off road biking. last time when we went there the roads after the Bang/Mysoye highway towards Manchanbele was not that great but was easily rideable without any issues. I dont know the present road condition there.

^Manchinbele eh? I'd gone there 2-3 weeks back. Mysore road and the branch road leading to the lake are good. The last 3-4 kms were horrible. But road laying activities were going on so you guys should expect smooth roads.

The road surrounding the lake might be just as bad as before though.
