ok the mistry of missing hours!

we had just started our journey back to bangalore after our delicious breakfast. avin, tanay and i was left back and archi had sprinted ahead!

our ride was as nice and avin was leading us this time! well at about 10km ahead an unfortunate insident happened! avin had hit a person crossing the road and the man fell unconcious and avin was hurt bad on his chest and his hands especially inner palms were hurt!

i was following avin and i had seen the accident very closely!
i just signalled tanay to stop and look at the man and i came to avin. the time became stressed and frankly speaking i was very nervous of the locals. a huge crowd gathered! i heard the ambulance even before we took the bikes to the side! and the ambulance was gone with the man! avin refused the ambulance..( more to come a little later)

^ The chap crossing the road was drunk, according to one local who talked to me. The guy came right in front of Avin and froze.

That was a bad accident. But we were very lucky the local crowd opined that it was the fault of the drunk guy and not that of Avin. Otherwise the 3 of us would have been beaten up for sure. And none of us knew Tamil either.

What a first ride. I'm hoping the rest go REALLY uneventfully.

my speedo never exceeds 110

Long time since I poked around here, although I just a few glance once in a while. Sorry for not being regular, had some hiccups out at the job for a while.

Just last Sunday one of my buddies wanted to hit Skandigiri, so I helped him out for a while, just when I reached the Devanahalli Airport flyover, I thought let me wring the throttle and see what comes today, amazing, the ride was memorable at 125kmph!. My classic though old, still has some grunt in it.

I got the sms too but ill come on the next ride. As my bike cannot cross 40-50 kmph in the top gear right now .

Would you look to see who has decided to bring up his ugly head. Didnt even bother to tell us if he's alive or not. So tell me bro, what's new (if any)?

the locals admitted that it was the fault person crossing the road. many suggestions started pouring on me which i conveyed to tanay and avin!

a lady told us that its better that we just move out of that place whereas some others weren't letting us leave the place.

the time was moving very slow! tanay had called up archi and finally he showed up after some 30 min i guess... we collectively decided to take avin to hospital whereas tanay would stay back with the bikes. a local (i think his name was suresh) arranged a auto to the govt. hospital in krishnagiri. avin was treated and now another round of events started taking place!

we had to report the matter to a cop who sits in the hospital itself. we just reported to him and told him the facts. archi thought its better to report first so that avin does not face any hit and run case on him.

i was taken to the ward to meet the person. the person was on glucose and his reports read that he was drunk. this was a silver lining on the dark clouds for us. his relatives have consulted some lawyer who told us that he would file a complain in police and let avin give the insurence amount to them. i was frankly confused by this statement. we first tried to avoid all this and they demanded Rs.25000/- but then archi said that they would however loose the case as the person was drunk and we decided to file a case. this turned out to be a positive play for us. thanks to archi on this. now the persons relative started to back up. i was followed by some of his relatives where ever i go. i was trying to convence them for Rs.2000/- archi was talking to the male members outside and i was talking to a female member of the family in the hospital.

archi reports saying that they have agreed for Rs.2000/- and i had some hope of returning home by lunch time.
i helped avin to the auto waiting outside.. but now again they started argueing.. some adjustments were made.. archi was in a hurry and he had to leave. after archi was gone, i asked the local person with us to move in where they were preparing to file the case. i asked avin to call his fren(room mate) to arange som cash!

we moved in and offered them Rs.5000/- as final option! they finally agreed in front of the cop! this was taken down in writing and male members and people present as witness sighned the document. the cop asked me to move to the accident zone and move avin's bike a km away in any direction before the cops would come to the place! avin left with them to the atm and i took a auto to the accident place.

i met tanay waiting there. we moved avin's bike to another place in a hotel parking and then came back to the accident zone.

in some time avin met us. and he said he will ride the bike.. but his palms were hurt bad. i gave him my gloves.

we took him to his bike.
now again we were riding in the same order!!
avin was leading us, i was following him and tanay behind me!!

the speed was a little low at 40kmph now but i am happy that avin was back on saddle it was evening by now. at silkboard tanay took left divertion to btm layout, avin took his route to the right side and i moved straight

Thats scary man. You guys are lucky you guys didn't get the brunt of the crowd. A frenzied crowd is mostly always lacking in judgement. Anyways, all's well that ends well.

hey guys i'm back.

well first a damage report.

bruised diaphragm and a knee ligament. and finger tips and palm of both hands scraped of its skin.

yes very difficult to type.. tough luck on the road. doc said a should recover in about a week or two.

Phew! my last post was 10 pages ago; & missing all the action, when life continues to move on. Avin, get well soon & cherish those battlewounds .
