Since no one posted .. we guys came back from our trip by evening .. the ride wasn't exactly uneventful but alls well that ends well.

Out with the log and pics people. As expected, i dozed off at 1.30 A.M and woke up at 10.30 A.M.
Missed the ride and had another uneventful weekend

the day started pretty well,
the riders
archi (R15)
avin (P180)
tanay (P200)
and me (A150)
just before sunrise, we started from the meeting place to a dam in shoolagiri! the ride was just awsome in the morning hours and the roads in the tamil nadu side were superb.
we reached shoolagiri and the hunt for the dam started! the local person we asked first directed us towards a dam which was supposed to be in a 4km radius!! we headed towards it and archi was leading us! reached a small temple and asked another person there! he turned us back to another road!! the hunt for the missing dam continued. on the way avin had a narrow escape from a oncoming auto from a blind corner!! we headed a good distance into a village! asked the locals and they turned us back once again!! on the way back, tanay had a fall due to some gravel and stones on a corner. was a minor one!!! we decided to have a small break! had some biscuits, drank some water, took some photos and started again.
the hunt for the missing dam continued when AVIN had a brilliant idea!! Follow the electric poles and it will lead to the dam!!
thats what we did! archi was leading us again! we were following the electric lines and it disappeared!!!! we entered another village on a T junction! where do we head now??? some talking with the locals and some mutual discussion, the state highway to Krishnagiri for breakfast was decided! so we headed in the direction of krishnagiri on the state highway! the roads were amazing, beautiful surroundings, a couple of hair pin bends. it was an awsome ride!!!. we never found the dam!
we reached krishnagiri and had our breakfast! and just dissused one thing... we will find the dam on the next G2G.
we started our ride back towards bangalore! archi was in mood to rip and decided on his solo sprint! he was waiting for us at a distance in shoolagiri again! avin was leading the rest of us in the mean while
but we reached bangalore in the evening!!!.....

apart from the little fall, I really enjoyed the trip.
Also got to rip on one straight section, saw 122 on the speedo for the first time.
Nice idlis and vada too.
But one heck of a first ride for me!

Unfortunately, i got the sms at 2:44PM on sunday ( afternoon).
U guys must have been returning back i guess.
I had 186km of riding in the city this weekend.Never Argue with an Idiot !!!
