sira-c'durga 60 kms
c'durga-ranibennur-haveri 127 kms of incomplete 4 lane road.with dust and diversions. Can still do 110.
haveri-hubli 64 kms
hubli-dharwad 40 kms
dharwad-belgaum 60 kms
belgaum-nippani 50kms
nippani-kolhapur 50 kms
kolhapur-karad ~60kms
karad-satara ~60kms
satara-Pune 120 kms

total of 840 kms
Can be done in less than 12 hours if u Push

plannin chennai mumbai on my bike around the 28th-29th.neeeded some help with the route from blore to pune.
anyone willing to help ?

NH4 all the way...roads worth ripping @ 100+ throughout sans some 60-70kays of bad patch...I just did it a couple of weeks back...roads were pretty good...

Note : Don't forget to avoid the expressway once crossed pune...Bikes are not allowed on it(Just FYI incase you new to that side )

Guys help required:
I might plan for a road trip to my home town. Thinking of covering it in two days. I need information about road conditions from Bangalore - Hyderabad - Nagpur - Bhilai.
I know the total distance (around 1300kms), I want to know about the roads and places to stay or is their any better route for that place.

My advice , avoid going through Andhra now , I know its shorter.

Take the GQ , its longer , But its faster

Bangalore- mysore its good 130 kms
Mysore-Nanjangud-20kms , okish small roads.
nanjangud-Gundlupet-70 kms , Decent enough.
Gundlupet-Bandipur -Bad initially , then good.
Mudumalai-Ooty , take the Masinagudi route , its small and steep and shorter , but scenic..

thanks alot buddy.gonna note it down and stick it on my fuel tank
its my first long ride.plannin to do it in 1.5 days.max i have ridden in one day is about 300kms.so jus assuming that im superman.

About cold...well...Dont expect it to be chilly(thanks to global warming...winters are getting sad ) but I guess the riding jacket with Liner within would suffice...Do use a Balaclava...that would work wonders @ night both form cold and insects incase you need to to open-up the visor.

Oh great !!! I don't think i can join you guys, our company's mandatorily shutting down during Christmas / New Year and we've got hols from 25th Dec to 3rd Jan, wanna do a really long drive ... U guyz have a great ride !!!

As long as the rider sticks to safe driving (Lane discipline, consistent riding, proper gears etc...), basically everything that gets followed during any of the xBhp's G2G's can join us ... We're planning to ride in a true nomadic style , no prior bookings, nothing planned except the start & end dates
