The problem is, after crossing Tumkur, there is heavy traffic before we could join NICE road. It takes literally one hour including all the patience and energy left!

    Any thoughts?

There is no way out Praveen. The only other way would be to take the ring road at Jalahalli and follow it all the way till u touch Hosur Road via KR Puram. Not the fastest way.

        • correct, NICE road is the better option to take
and work is still going on at the bannerghatta road intersection, so you'll have to take a left and proceed for a km or so and then take right to a small but not-so-bad road that connects to ~electronic city. but it'll be better if you advance by 2hrs or so, and make sure to enter NICE from tumkur road before 430-5. you can avoid at least a bit of the traffic i think

          • I was surprised that I got this question from Praveen about that since he has done this route before but I got what you are asking for, if you want to avoid that stretch totally, take the left at dobbaspet, which comes after tumkur, this is NH207. Follow that road to Hoskote, which is NH4. You can then continue to Chennai in NH4.

Don't follow NH207 to NH7, the stretch after sarjapur to Attibele is horrible!!

NH207 is two lane but quite good roads.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again.
