Anyway heads up to the rest of the guys who are in for the fri ride - after reading neil's post and considering the amount of traffic on hosur road, lets head elsewhere and plan for Krishnagiri some other time.

Please suggest places other than maddur and mandya.

We can start a bit late on Friday Night, reach Skandhagiri, treck up,see the early morning sunrise and come back...What you all say about this?

That is an option and we can also try going to Mekadattoo.
Its like Nandi hills but a little different i guess.
What say?

3. Hogganekkal falls (For this we can start early on Sat morning and be back by evening, if ok with all)

I'm assuming there will be a bigger population of vehicles on the weekend as people will be travelling to and fro between states. Wont be much fun riding with buses all over the road.

Lets park this for now and come back to it later. In the meantime lets throw in more ideas on the destination and take a final call by Friday morning.

If others agree then we can finalise Hogganekkal falls... its odd 230 kms one side.... it will be fun...the only problem is.. there is high chance that we might get rain in that area.

Hmmm. If we are leaving at night latest I can return home is just after sunrise. So i doubt if Hogenekkal will fit in my time schedule.

But dont hold plans on my account. Go ahead based on your plans and timings. I can always join for the next ride.

Going to hoganekkal falls at night won't be worthy...
And it will be approx 150km each side.

If not feasible then i guess maddur/mandya is the only one!!!

Suggest some place to ride out on fri night...
If we are not able to lock on to a place then ride on to the default one the Ride to Mandya!!

hmm... how about something on the kolar side... m not to familiar with the location so i wouldn't be able to tell you any details.. but i guess that would make a decent ride.. what do you think?
