Voting status for weekend ride

Lets wait till 6pm today, to see if we get more votes/participation. We'll freeze the destination post that.

Meanwhile you guys can PM me your cell numbers.
The plan is to ride out by 05:30am tomorrow (10-Jul) morning. We'll freeze on the meeting point based on the destination.

PS: Personally, I'd like to be back in B'lore by noon.

Requirements for riders & pillion(if any):
Mandatory: Helmet, Jacket (with armour preferred), shoes/boots covering the foot completely, full-length jeans (or any other thick material).
Optional (but highly recommended): gloves, knee-guards, chest guards, back-protector.

Please ensure to carry all necessary documents like registartion certificate (RC Book/ smart card), up-to-date vehicle insurance, tax paid receipt, PUC (emission) certificate for your bike.

Please note that we believe in safe riding, and do not encourage rash riding, speed tests, & stunting (among others) during rides. You may do so at your own risk after breaking away from the group, & we will not be responsible for you.

Even rode to Wayanad (I know again but had to coz i wanted to ride at the earliest) after that back with my itch for the KKumari

Hey guys,
A quick trip update.
Sunday - 10 july 2011. Trip to horseley hills.
Four of us made it:
Tibby
ashwin208
Anoop Desai
Me(nathanvighnesh)

Left Bangalore around 6. Reached Mulbagal pretty quickly. The state highway from there was not in a great condition.
Reached Horseley Hills by 10 30. And found out the Hill was closed due to some strike
Spend sometime up there and started back for bangalore at around 11 as everyone had prior commitments. Again through some bad patches rode back (without food, except for a break for parle g) Were back in bangalore by 1.45.
In all around 400 kms covered. A quick (allmost non stop) ride that went very nicely. Not many pics since we took very little pics. Will try to upload what i took soon.

^^Why did u guys go till mulbagal to reach horseley hills? u were supposed to take a left @hoskote, and go via chintamani.. the distance shouldn't have been more than 150Km's one-way...
