Yes, the distance was 190kms via mulbagal. But, the roads were scenic and also it was a traffic-free and well spaced road. On the return, we took hoskote route. It was a 2 lane road with patches everywhere. We had to get our suspensions working. Upon that, we faced something similar to city traffic where we could hardly go beyond 70kmph.

The 190km route is the one i would personally prefer if i again go there.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a Ride!"

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Haha.. If you go back a couple of pages, you will see there was voting for the destination. Hence the delay.
Plus I was busy with other things, hence couldn't login to give updates.
However, riders who had confirmed participation & shared their numbers with me were aware of the plans.

Anyways, I think you should plan this weekend's ride, the way you'd like it to be.
Will be great to have someone set a role model for us.

                      • Any place where one can learn the art of Cornering. I was initially scared to bend much, but last weekend, a CBR's + one single HD ride to Nandi saw myself pulling my leg and trying to corner, but somewhere on a twisty, the rear wheel slipped a lil' and after that it was plain cornering(more like turning handle bar). So anywhere we can practice this cornering and also scrapping the ground with knee.

Before straight away hitting the chapter of ground scraping i'd suggest you get to know the potential of the bike. It is very important as once you're on the track with a fairly new bike (i believe this is a differnt style bike for you. I was also very slow when started with my P200 then R15 then current one) then you tend to over shoot your and your bike's capabilities the result of which can be anything. So what i'd suggest is try gradual leaning (of course taking safety into consideration) and once you are confident enough then Track is the way to go!!!

I may be wrong or li'l slow in my approach but that's what i've followed.

                            • Just checked the weather forecast for the weekend and both Saturday (16th Jul) and Sunday (17th Jul) mornings are reportedly clear with no prediction of rain.

Anyone who is interested to ride out please let me know.

I'm game for saturday or sunday.

Location - Towards Nandi hills, Krishnagiri or any other place where the roads are good.

I prefer to be back by noon so anyone game, let me know.

@Tibby - we'll take some pics specially for you.
