Gokarna basically is a temple town. But most youngsters visit the place for its "virgin, unexplored" beaches.

. If you have 3 or 4 days, go for it. You won't regret it.

It was pretty okay I guess. Ten hours on road. Did not expect to do it in a Xing. Oh yes, the mileage returned was a lovely 16 kmpl average.

@inder: yes, bro. But its kind of all strung together. And they're all fantastic. Oh yes, might I add, we were extremely lucky to spot a pair of dolphins jump out of the water. Yes! Dolphins...just like the ones you see on Discovery Channel . It seems they come around near the coast during this time. We just spotted it once. Camera was there. But this is what the photographer took.
