I missed the maiden gig too. The tickets in the previous edition of Rock in India cost 1000 bucks(which had Megadeth! \m/). This time the price was hiked to Rs 1600 so couldn't go.

I have a holiday on 23rd (Mahashivaratri), so I might ride elsewhere on that day. Puducherry maybe. Anyone else has holiday on 23rd?

I am leaving early hours Saturday, I'd be taking the Chittoor route.

I also have a holiday on 23rd, planning to do some place. Pondi is nice but not much to see or do there. That day is not planned!

Cool then, I'm not too specific about going to Pondi. Have been there a couple of times, but havent found any other place nearby thats worth visiting.

yeah true ... but previous maiden was 900 and 1500rs so i think they maintained the cost. and man i do respect them coz last time they said they willl be back in India next year (ie this year) and boy did they keep their word! wonder when our politicians would maintain their word, in the right ways, atleast once!
