All number plate makers order it over the phone from someone else. Would be interesting if one could find out the person who actually makes these plates.
Im sure we could get them for much cheaper that way...

@Maverick: Congrats on your new Bike. Guys do you plan to off road there ? If no, I might join you guys for this ride. It's been a really long time since I did a ride. Samyaza, where do you stay ? You can get it from anywhere, I got mine done from this guy on R V Road near my place, as mentioned by Maverick it costs Rs. 600/= per set of 2 plates.

There are a few on J.C Rd who supply it for Rs 400-600. There is one person near Old Airport Rd. who makes them but I dont know his price. @gd76: I stay in Banaswadi. There is guy in HBR layout who makes those but he said Rs 800 for 2 plates

So its just me & Samyaza now! And my 2 frnz!

Offroading is out for this time, most prolly going else where!

Change in the location

Had a chat with Praful and there has been a small change in the location. We'll be riding to Muthati now instead of Savanadurga. Offroading is still in! Distance is approx 100 kms so we'll be starting earlier!


Destination: Muthati
Meeting Time:0500 Hrs
Meeting Point: Cool Joint (Jayanagar 4th Block)

People who are interested can get in touch with me or Praful. There are no restaurants near Muthati so riders are advised to carry 3-4 bottles of water and some snacks.

Came back home a few mins back. Fantaaaaastic G2G! Really good that we changed the location to Muthati. Loved every minute of it. Had some anxious moments while offroading but the experience is something i'll never forget!

@Maverick: We should meet up man, it's been a long time since I did a group ride.

@Samyaza: I believe there is only one person at the moment who makes these plates, everybody else just take the order & get it made by him, he is located somewhere in Yashwanthpur.

I'm sorry guys couldn't join you for the ride, had some work in the morning. So I did a SOLO ride on Hosur road, for about 120 kms. 60 kms one way. Started the ride by about 12:00 pm & came back home by about 2:15 pm, non stop ride, except for one Butt break. Initially I planned to ride upto A2B, but then mind changed & so did the direction, just about 10 kms before A2B took a U turn & rode back home.
