Dude, where are the other pics??? I definitely saw you shoot loads more...
^^+1 My line of thought too!Originally posted by prajwalkashyap View PostIn my opinion, Yercaud is a little too far off for a single day ride. I had been there last year for the interstate xBHP meet and it was an overnight stay.
I am looking at something around 250-300kms which should be rideable in a day; leave early in the morning and be back before sundown.

Not that I'd mind riding to Yercaud, but wud be on the higher side for riding in one day! And that would indirectly mean not many people coming for the ride!

+1 on that... I was also of the opinion that it'd be too much of driving... Ultimately, it should not be like reach the place after driving for long long time, reach the place and head backOriginally posted by prajwalkashyap View PostIn my opinion, Yercaud is a little too far off for a single day ride. , it'd be great if we can spend sometime...
Plan A:
Yercaud will be feasible if we plan to leave B'lore on Saturday noon, so that we can plan to reach post sun-set, halt there, get up early in the morning, do some local sight-seeing, lady's seat, gents' seat, pagoda point etc
... once done with everything, leave by 12-1 PM, so that we can reach B'lore by 8-9 PM and call it a great weekend
!!! Am ready for this one too
Plan B:
Leave early morning on a Sunday to a place which is around 100-150 kms from Bangalore
, have a good driving experience and return the same evening... Possible choices:
Mekedaatu (Doing it for the nth time
)
Devarayana Durga
Melukote / Ranganathittu / Kanva Reservior
Suggestions on Plan C most welcome

Nice to be back
It was a sudden punch in the stomach when it was time for me to saddle up for the ride on Feb 21st. Manju (P150 DTSi), Professor Nanjundappa (Honda Unicorn) and my office colleague Ratheesh along with his friend Mahesh (Honda Unicorn) [oh and me on Pulsar 180] showed up out of the so called 10 people who were supposed to meet up to the trip to Kerala on the occassion of my marriage. It was an amazing 'Bachelor' ride through Gundalpet to the twist and curvy Naadugaani hills. We reached with no incidents at all by God's grace and then it was ticking nervousness for me, especially the night prior. The wedding went well and the rest of the guys made back with no problems. I gave trail after couple of weeks back on the bike.
I thank all of my friends and support received and blessings for 22nd Feb. I thought it was not fair for a biker not to let his trip log fall even on the eve of his marraige. Also thanks Manju for the riding gloves that he has presented me as a wedding gift, it served me well..The future, always so clear to me, had become like a black highway at night.
