So, let us put forward these three places as options for the 12th G2G, interested people kindly vote for the below mentioned places as the location for the 12th G2G ride, to be hosted sometime in the last week of July/ beginning of August:

Start from Bangalore - Sakleshpur, finish Bisle Ghat and come back via Shanivarsante - Bylakuppe and Mysore Rd.

What date has been decided for this one?

Birthday ride to Gandikota

First I would like to thank [MENTION=20165]phanikar[/MENTION] to ignite the fire to ride to this marvellous place. Gandikota was on my last since last year, but I was waiting for post-monsoon when the Penna river gets healthy amount of water. But a picture from Phanikar made me crazy (which meant water or no water, I am going there ). So, the impromptu ride happened, [MENTION=48446]seahorses[/MENTION] and [MENTION=61618]Team Torque[/MENTION] tagged alone. We faced rains along the NH7, it was scorching hot when we reached Gandikota and yes, all throughout the return leg, we were belted with tremendous cross winds . Nevertheless, a birthday well spent by me, I will return again post monsoon to see the gorge in full flow . The entire route after we go off the NH is scenic and mesmerizing, maybe next time I would take out more time and enjoy each and every moment! Some pictures from yesterday's ride goes below.

@SuvraGanguly have you surreptitiously got hold of my wishlist I am seeing that you are ticking all the places, when I am held up with some unavoidable commitments
Good one there Keep munching miles. Also post a route map, if possible, with info on distance.

initial pictures are not visible to me, not sure if others are able to see, but i have seen the full album over fb, splendid stuff and yes the plan was to explore more of Gandikota and extend it to Belum caves, but it did not happen because we started off pretty late so maybe next time..thank you once again for that fire!
