Finally, my bike has arrived in the showroom and will be delivered to me tomorrow...
The story so far goes something like this... I booked my sword silver dazzler on 3rd June' 2010.. The dealer said that there is no waiting period and that the bike will be delivered as the loan formalities are done and the loan amount was disbursed...I was very happy as I was supposed to move to Pune (office transfer) on 14th June...He said it will be done by then and that I can take the delivery of the bike... The loan formalities were not over before 14th (in spite of my constant running behind him ) and I extended my travel to Pune from office by another week...By the end of next week, I got a confirmation that the loan formalities are done. When i asked him whether my bike is with them from their godown, he said yes and showed me the bike... I was very disappointed by looking at the bike cuz the one he showed me was the only silver kept at the showroom for display (not for test ride) right from day one the bike was launched....The bike was abused by constant rains and had rust on the disc plate and the nuts and bolts below the engine... The next day I spoke to the sales person and denied to take that bike and told him that I can wait for their next container to arrive with the fresh lot... After a wait for almost 27 days after the booking, finally he called me yesterday and said that the container had arrived and that the bike shall be registered today and I shall get the delivery by tomorrow, but alas !!!! I am not here but in Pune, so I wont be able to have the virgin ride ![]() ![]() It is going to be my bro who will break her virg***ty ![]() ![]() I will be coming to Mumbai over the weekend and will then be able to have a look at my babe... Shall post the pictures then... Any check/inspection that I need to suggest my bro before taking the delivery of the bike would be of great help !!! People who already have taken the delivery of their bike can comment as they might have overlooked a particular thing while taking the delivery and must have observed it later... |

- Check for any major scratches on the body.
- Check if all the lights are working including the brake lights, my bike had a blown filament in the tail light that is the one which lights when we brake, but thats subjective. - Ask the dealer if he can give u more of those honda logo key chains He just gave me one.- If you plan to fit extra fittings like saree/crash gaurd then ask em when it will be available.

My Rear tire was punctured and repaired before the delivery, which I din notice and was not informed... It was only the next mornin i took a look at it and it was like a chewing gum sticking in the thread... I tried to remove it, and only then found it to be coming from inside the tire... So I enquired bout this to the sales manager, and they confessed... Asked sorry and replaced my tire...

The reviews of Dazzler of the top Automobile Magazines of India are completely opposite. ACI says the Dazzler is the fastest and Overdrive says Dazzler is the slowest of the lot.
Top end of Dazzler per ACI 115 kmph and per Overdrive 101 kmph. I found the review by Overdrive is completely ridiculous and I have never seen such a worst review in the past. No 0-100 figures and no rollon figures. The biggest joke is, FZ is more fuel efficient than the Dazzler and Dazzler is the least fuel efficient of all the bikes. Dazzler's highway mileage is 40, and city mileage is 63.5 kmpl.

^^ I doubt they even test it properly. Most of the reviews you see are all done in public roads, although its nice to know how the bikes behave in traffic but trying out top speed and handling, you need a closed track for that.
@Maestro I drove my friends Dazzler till 104 swiftly, then the drag started so didn't try anymore. But that was the speedo speed, which usually have errors.
