Hey Good pics Ken... This one is ready to take on the GS. On viewing your pics I would like to give my opinion. Would love to see it on par with GS in the 0-100 drag

      Likes:
      -Looks better that the unicorn
-Seems to have an edge over GS in power, not sure abt the torque
-Rear discs.. too good (am really missing it in my GS)

      Dislikes:
-Rear indicator protrudes out ... could get hurt and hang.
      -Unicorn's head light looked better
-Havent seen any pics of console at night; but GS's console looks better than this.

        Hi,

I have been using Suzuki Fiero for 10 years. Dont feel like selling the bike as it has been very reliable. As you have also owned the bike, can you compare both the bikes?

From what I've heard, both fiero and tvs F2 are really good bikes. I just hope that gs is reliable too... But you cannot close your eyes on a honda as they have proven over the past decade. Its the honda the edges suzuki here (Thats how I viewed it from the number people who have owned honda and are more than satisfied). But somehow suzuki won my heart.
Dazzler SHOULD be a good bike and you need to test drive both and decide. I'll also suggest you to testdrive a GS that has run more that 8K kms on the odo.. Thats when the engine sets well....
In the end do what ur heart says and you'll never regret..

              hey shadow[RBS],
tis is completely my personal opinion...i believe wen it comes to selection u shud always listen to ur heart...
i see u r in dual mind whether to go for CB Unicorn (since u like it very much) whose design is not sync wit current sporty models or to be a dazzler which has been just rolled out and will b the most happening bike for atleast 4months
nxt lined up is GS150R, i wud say the current sticker design is not very appealing, i see it inline with the fiero's or the starcity kindof design somethings really missing as far as looks is concerned..

at 6 ft n 80kgs dazzlers may not look very good on u though GS and Uni r the perfect ones...
once u hav the bike dont be in denial listen to ur heart bcoz the shortcomings on ur selection will be short lived...

                Nice bike congrats bro..........

some of the things i noticed......although its my personal opinion...
                • the engine side packaging is very neat and compact. this gives a nice clean look.
                • the overall design could have been better.
                • silencer is still that huge one and looks ugly to me.
                • rear tyre mudflap is also not very attractive.
                • the console is just ok in terms of looks. that analog tacho and digital display combo idea ---everone seems to be going the pulsar way....with different shape and size combinations.
                • headlight design could have been better. this typical kind of headlight design make the bike look thinner than it actually is.

tell us ..whether the bike has AC+DC electricals or only DC.

above mentioned points are my personal opinion.......otherwise the bike is good one......congrats once more........enjoy riding.........do the running-in process thoroughly & properly....as mentioned in the manual.

Thanks prince, i too agree with you that there are few drawbacks, its the overall impression what i really looked into...

This bike has both DC and AC, they should have gone for only DC option....honda needs to listen to the users.....

Good to here that u too are experienced with Fiero for 10 years, Fiero is an amazing bike...which will never give u unexpected trouble... reliable strong and safe...
As per my experience with Fiero there are too much to say... i have driven more than 1 Lakh kms with this bike... out of which the failures are hardly countable.. of course i was looking after that bike nicely... u know with this many years of company....theres some bonding develops between u and bike...that was really amazing...the only reason behind departing it is lack of service, support and availability of parts... with a lot of hard feeling i departed from it....

As am new to Unicorn Dazzler yet i need to understand it precisely....it requires some more time before i make comparison between Fiero and Dazzler...

Hi its basically individual perception of how the bike need to fit u. other than the suitability its the comfort which matters when driving a vehicle, equally there are other factors also to look into like mileage, pickup etc... some people need power but not mileage. some people expect highest fuel economy and they are not bothered about its power. So u need to analyze all these various aspects...

Bought Dazzler on 5th June 2010 220kms done

Wednesday 2nd June -- I am ready to shell out 75k for P180 but Bajaj guys ask me to get a few changes done in the letter issued from my office as address proof.

Thursday 3rd June -- Office guy tells me letter will only be ready on friday. Meanwhile i am sulking over giving up my first love Unicorn and instead choosing P180. I read somewhere on this forum that Dazzler is available in Cochin --200kms from Trivandrum where currently i am.I call agency in the evening and they confirm about availability.

Friday 4th June -- I get address proof from office.

                        Saturday 5th June
                        6am-9:30am To Cohin by train
I reach the agency and book my vehicle. I chose silver over gold as gold looked gawdy to me. Personal opinion.
                        12:00 - 3:00pm I watch Rajneeti
6:00pm Vehicle is ready but there is a scratch on silencer plate so i asked them for a replcament. Even the replacement had a scratch though quite minor so i accept it.

My riding exp. - I rode my CDDeluxe at home a lot and after coming to Trivandrum i rode my friends Passion. Since the last two months i was riding my friends' P220 as he broke his leg.
When the pros used to say "butter smooth" gears and precise shifts i never used to appreciate it. Thanks to Dazzler for enlightening me on that . After the Pulsar experience Dazzler seemed simply amazing.
Yes gears can be butter smooth.
Pulsar's gears sound "Khat-Khat" while shifting Dazzler is just "Click". Gear shifts are smooth and precise. Even getting it on neutral in traffic which i remember a herculean task on Pulsar is breezy on Dazzler.
Engine -- sorry you cannot make out if it is running under 4k rpm. It shows all the traits of the smoothness on the old UNi. Since i haven't riden the old Uni much cannot compare pickup but i was pretty impressed with Dazzler's.
Ride quality is superb. Even after a 5hr 220km ride i am writing this review at 2:30 in the night. THat should testify. Last two hrs of my ride i rode in conitnuous rain and it was pretty stable at ~50kmph.

Mileage--3.5 ltrs for 220kms--comes arnd 60 i guess. When i fill next time i'll check reserve to reserve.

Coming to looks -- which matter the least to me. Well it may not redefine looks as FZ has done but its a decently good looker. Looks like big bro of the Twister. Unlike other bikes which have dual rear shocks the full rear tyre is visible without any obstrcutions which make it look majestic from rear.
Well it may not "Dazzle" any onlooker but the possession of such a fine machine will definitely put a smile on your face

You choose what you care more about -- your smile or others' dazzles.

anybody got crash guard fitted on Dazzler?
The dealer told me no other crash guard and saree guard fits onto this and ones for it are expected next month..i didnt want the saree guard but i am very scared without a crash guard. If the bike falls or something even accidentally the side cowl and honda logo will take the beating.
Please if anyone could get any crash guard fitted on this one tell me..
