But, will the mixture become lean, all of a sudden? Also, adultrated petrol may cause over heating. I strongly suspect the quality of fuel in this case.Originally posted by Discoverboy View PostHH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

@Dazzle:If u have tubeless tyres then check for possible punctures.Puncture can also be the reason of wobbling and since its a tubeless tyre its hard to make out if its punctured or not.Last edited by Discoverboy; 10-26-2010, 05:42 PM."It's not the biker nor the bike but when both become one the road starts burnin"

Hi All,Originally posted by Sirius View PostCheck your oil level again dude. Also check the carb settings. Lean mixture will lead to overheating.
Thanks for your prompt replies.. I checked the oil leve yest and it seemed fine...
I doubt the mixture to be lean as because of two reasons..
1. Last time when I had a similar prob, the mexh inspected the spark plug and said that the bike is not runing lean and I havent changed the carb settings again..
2. I am getting an average of 45, so it cant be lean

True, if I am bare feet or wearing chapals while riding the bike, I feel the heat more.. However, I have always touched the engine to see how much is it heating up and its a "lot" to say... I am not getting time off from work to get the bike to the mech again..Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostPsycho_omkar, in traffic the engine heats up a bit as is the case with all the engines. Sometimes, if the skin near the feet is bare, then heat is easily felt, and in these circumstances, there are high chances that you feel the engine is over heating suddenly. Please check if this is the case.
In traffic if ride for more than 5-6 km, I can easily feel the heat from the engine.
Also, check if the engine oil level, though I do not think any issues with that.

Even if its punctured it should give way in few KM's or day or two....but this problem is going on from the second service...i guess mechanic over there did some changes...Originally posted by Discoverboy View Post@Dazzle:If u have tubeless tyres then check for possible punctures.Puncture can also be the reason of wobbling and since its a tubeless tyre its hard to make out if its punctured or not.
I've given my bike to Honda service dept. they said they need to check my bike thoroughly as the problem is persistent and it will take 2 days for that....i don't have any option but to give my bike to them......
will get my bike tomorrow...lets see what happens next....Hoping for the best....

Dazzle, you said the problem of wobbling was there initially and its gone for the last two services. Did you know what was the reason when it got rectified?Originally posted by dazzle View PostEven if its punctured it should give way in few KM's or day or two....but this problem is going on from the second service...i guess mechanic over there did some changes...

Reason is not clear and moreover mechanics doesn't explain you the way you wanted them to......Even after the second servicing i had the same issue...and had to give my bike to them for two days so that they can examine the issue properly....they said that the issue is persistent and it has to do something with wheel alignment....Originally posted by ravi@17bhp View PostDazzle, you said the problem of wobbling was there initially and its gone for the last two services. IF its not photography, I think you should watch 3 idiots (if you haven't already that is)
I would like to inspect your bike once. Any possibility for you to meet me? Why do not you ask the SVC guys what was the reason for the wobbling? You have the right to get the information. Where did you service the bike? I know works manager in JSP Honda. Lets see if I can offer some help to you.Originally posted by dazzle View PostReason is not clear and moreover mechanics doesn't explain you the way you wanted them to......Even after the second servicing i had the same issue...and had to give my bike to them for two days so that they can examine the issue properly....they said that the issue is persistent and it has to do something with wheel alignment....
