I would like to inspect your bike once. Any possibility for you to meet me? Why do not you ask the SVC guys what was the reason for the wobbling? You have the right to get the information. Where did you service the bike? I know works manager in JSP Honda. Lets see if I can offer some help to you.
    Gr8 pic bro......

Thats very nice of you....lets plan a day to meet....i asked them several times but they had same reply that there was some issue with the wheel alignment..i even asked them how did they fixed it...but there was no reply....they just said it will take two days to fix it permanently...even after that there is slight sideways movement coming from the front wheel now (Earlier it was back wheel)....

i bought the bike from Pratul Honda Erragadda and i give my bike over there for servicing.....i have good terms with work manager over there but even after that mechanic over there are too lousy.....

anyways it will be very helpful of you to help me out of this....looking forward to it......

      • Hi, I am a new to the community, though I have read through all the posts from page 1. Really great and helpful.
Mine is Black Dazzler. Really superb bike and I love its :
        1. Maneuverability and handling.
        2. Super smooth engine
        3. The acceleration.

Initially I didnt like the styling. But now as the days pass I am loving it.
3 months and 2.5K on road. Milage around 50-60km/ltr.
The intro in the manual says "....a vehicle that responds to your command as no other does." Absolutely true....

Thankyou all for this thread which helped me clarify about and to understand my machine more !!!

        • HEy guys got my red dazzy yesterday... Adyar kun Honda is the shitiest dealer... They talked so much just because I went half hour late... They said 4-6 delivery time I went at 6.30... They told to come tomorrw but I insisted them to give the bike... So to show their anger they made me wait for 1hr 15mins... Then when I saw the bike the left blinker was broken... Engine guard was hanging on one side because they didn't fit a clamp.. Handle bar weights were worn as they seemed to have scratched it... They promised me they'll change today... Worst customer reception....

First, congratulations for the new Dazzler. Do post some pictures.

Sorry the bad experience, Honda is arrogant and the service people show a lot of attitude. I highly suspect the bike might have fallen. Please be careful and inspect the bike properly.

Yes please completely inspect the bike before you accept it. Once you ride out of the gate, any scratch or dent is your reponsibility.

For my Dazzler's delivery even I went there after work and was 20 minutes late (6:20). Nobody complained or anything, and delivery was instant and since I was late I did not spend much time to inspect it. However, I noticed a small scrape on the silencer and a tiny chink on the tank (after ~3 days when I washed it). The sales person was decent and got me to bring it in, but their service people said that nothing could be done about it now since it had been a while since I took delivery (4-5 days).. the poor sales guy apologized and re-iterated the same thing, that HAD this been before delivery, he could have fixed even the tiniest thing for me.

I was 'Once bitten twice shy' from that experience, and for my wife's aviator, I requested an inspection of the vehicle before delivery day and noticed that the front panel had 2 dents and 1 scratch. I told them I'm not going to receive delivery as this is NOT a second hand bike.

Since it was before delivery, they took full responsibility replaced all the panels.

Moral of the story: Never accept a vehicle delivery in a hurry or under pressure, if you have to wait and return the next day, so be it. If you have to take a day off from work, so be it. You won't be buying a new bike everyday, so you are better of spending the initial time + money than repenting later.

              • jam tyres & handle bar

got my red dazzler this wednesday. i am very happy with the bike. but yesterday my friend pointed out that the tyres and the handle bar is not smooth(tyres quickly come to halt when rotated with hand and handle bar has to be pushed for full turning) is this normal? my dazzler has just run 40kms. i thought this is because bike is new and will smoothen out with kms. plz help

I would say that is the brake shoes touching the wheel even with the brake is in released state. This will definitely reduce with time.

To gauge the severity of this, observe your mileage. If your brake shoes are really holding the wheels back, then you will get poor mileage figures (<50 for dazzler).

The handlebar, you can get this fixed form the service station if its bothering you while taking U turns etc. I've personally never had this issue, but many people have reported this.

                  • thanks for quick reply

will check with the svc about the handle bar will keep eye on mileage for few days. thanks also how is the fuel cock used. in my dazzler 'ON' is written on top and 'reserve' at the bottom. off is on right side but cock moves in left direction. Now i am confused where is the reserve. i filled her up by 1.75liters and cock was on 'ON' position.

So yes reserve is when you turn the cock past OFF all the way down, exactly 180 degrees from ON. Going by the snaps, you would have to turn it clockwise till you cant turn it anymore (to get to reserve). I don't see the source of confusion

but when the cock is turned completely in clockwise direction ie upward facing then it goes to 'ON' position and when facing downward then on 'RESERVE'

sorry to ask such silly question but really confused

Bro, the marker is actually the shorter side and not the longer protrusion which would cover the respective marking if taken over it. For example, in the second photo, the side which is at 'OFF' is the marker, the extension on the other side is meant for ease of turning the thing.

                            • Thanks for your advice guys... I too made the same mistake of hurrying before taking the delivery... Yesterday only I noticed that there is a hole in the seat... When I told them abt it they said it's not their fault... However they replaced the blinkers, engine guard clamp and the handlebar weight on one side... Moreover the mechanics ride like maniacs... I was shocked to see one of them trying a donut on a newly registered twister... What kind of saddists are they...??? By they way I get a dismal fuel efficiency of 29.5 kpl... There is something seriously wrong either with me or wit the bike.... Don't know wat to do now....

Welcome to the dazzler family...if u have any issues go straight to Works Manager, if that also doesn't work out for you, register a complaint against them on the Honda website....it worked for me....

anyways don't be so gloom enjoy your new ride.....and about the mileage (29.5) is way too low....for a new bike it should be 40+...get your bike checked once, and go easy on your bike till ~2500 KM....

by the way which fuel you are using???
