Ditto for me. Second Gear isn't helpful even while in dense traffic. I have one question for the more experienced bikers (since I am new to biking). How often should one use the clutch (while braking and changing gears)? I have read that one shouldn't make too much usage of the clutch because they become less effective due to continuous frictional rubbing. But at the same time, when I commute in the normal traffic, I have to change the gears quite often. And should we always use clutch while braking? Under what circumstances can we use the brakes without pulling the clutch? My previous extensive experience has been on two-wheelers without gears. So I did not have to change gears. Changing the throttle was enough. In the bike however, usually at the slower speeds I am unable to decide when and which gear to switch to. |

Do you guys know Bunny Punia? The Bike India journalist?
He reviewed the Dazzler and concluded that the bike is uncomfortable for long rides (even a 60 km ride!).... Has anyone experienced this? I mean is it so bad? |

I got my bike a month back, had some good and exciting moment with it, but most of the time it shows many same repeated problems.
1) COLD START - After riding a bike for few kms and giving it a rest, every time i had to use choke to start it. Got it rectified after several visit to the honda service center. 2) Lack of power in the middle of the ride. when riding at a constant speed at times it feels as if fuel supply has been cut off from the engine and within a split of a second it comes back to power. tank is always above the reserve level. idle RPM is 1100. i am using BP speed for my bike. 3) very hard suspension for both front and the back. while back suspension is set on medium level. i can feel even a smallest of a pothole on the road. 4) Low Mileage - before first servicing it was giving me a 45kmpl, but after the servicing it is giving me only 40kmpl of mileage. 5) Sound from the back every time bike hits a pothole. even on hitting a small pothole. 6) jerk in the handle bar every time i use the front disc brake, noise comes from the rear disc brake. guys plzz help me out on the above issues. at time it makes me feel that i have wasted my entire money on it (...

giv the bike some time to settle down...cold start is a problem even in CB Unicorn and all honda bikes on road, u hav to do with it...warm up the engine for some 3-4mins using choke or ride it for some 4-5kms at low rpms check the petrol tat u fill may b its not clean jus use a normal unleaded petrol Suspension wil smothen out don't worry and i still say dont change the settings of the suspension... low mileage depends upon how u ride..more clucth engage will eat up the fuel...u shud atleast get 45-48 on dazzler, i get 51 but i normally ride at higher speeds... U have the second most refined engine in the market just giv it sometime...just do proper run-in.. PS: My bike starts instantly without any cold start issue (3-4days gap) if fuel tank is more than 3/4 full, have ny of u guys observed this...
