i Am planning for a 450km ride from chennai to madurai next weekend with my dazzler.is it advisable to take my bike for a long ride in a single day? .further my engine gets very much heated after one hour drive in city . normally i drive only at 45kmph in city and never gone more than 45kmph. today to check the speed of the bike i took it to byepass and i felt engine vibration after 50 till 60 after 60 its smooth and my bike struggled to go after 75kmph.is this a problem? becoz i rode the bike for 2000kms only under 45kmph .so my engine is set to a speed of 45kmph?.i need my bike to run at 90-100kmph to reach 450 kilometers in a 7-8 hours with some breaks .will that speed hurt my engine or some worst thing will happen to my engine if i ride it for 450kms in a day? please help me guys?
@sirius --where u put petrol guy in velachery my bike never gave me more than 50kmpl in speeds under 45kmph.?

I did 370KM in a day with ranging from 60-100kmph around 2 months back, everything working absolutely fine .

Finally I got my Dazzler today!!!

I don't know why some people say that it doesn't look good because I got a black dazzler and it looks amazing.

The riding experience has been good so far. But I have one question. I have done riding on pulsar before and today when I rode my new bike, it felt exactly like pulsar. This is surprising because when I test drove the dazzler a few days ago, it felt extremely smooth and even the clutch felt buttery. Yet now my dazzler is not as smooth, makes as much sound as the pulsar, and the clutch seems to be as tight as pulsar. Should I assume that this will all settle down once my servicing is done and my bike has come out of the run time?

i got my handlebar tightness fixed by a local mechanic. he looked it and made the front wire housing to sit in its clamp and wrapped a insulation tape on it. actually the tight handlebar is becoz the wire gets out of the clamp sometimes i got that done for 10 rupees. now its nice to turn the handebar.even the svc guys cant find and fix this problem but a old platform mechanic has done it

Battery is made by Exide specially for Dazzler. The quality from the Exide cannot be directly controled by Honda. A very less percentage of batteries will fail and that is why they give guarantee. It is unfortunate that your bike's battery failed.

BTW, is your bike still at Honda Service Station? Write a mail to Honda explaining the problem. I am sure they will take care of it.

I too had a bit of a problem with the electricals. I (considering myself as an amateur mechanic) oped up the side panel and was SHOCKED to see that the wire, the metal head oof the wire which connects to the battery teminal had corroded. It was so corroded that is was more rust than metal. Honda took my bike away for a whole day to replace that wire. and even after that, they had me waiting for about 3 hours at the workshop because they needed to do 'paper-work'. I hate honda service as much as i love their bikes.

Default Please advise!

1)I have just finished 150 kms in Dazzler and found the engine vibrating after the 50kmph!Is it because the engine is new and will be rectified after the first service or any other problem?

2)What about the oil change?
