Greetings to All,

I’ve taken delivery of my Wego last Saturday evening, ridden it rarely (say 40kms) bcoz its been raining good here in Hyd. First-hand experience is great to say for this scooter, bike pick-up just like bikes which feels great & builds up confidence in rider simultaneously. To start with looks, I opted for White color & it looks smashing – both while on move & when on side-stand, courtesy sparkling white color along with 12-inch alloys which are completely different what we had seen till date on our Indian 2-wheelers. Since its been raining & road are wet, tyre grip & traction with road is also great – TVS tyres provide great handling as well incase little-sudden braking or while taking bends. Shocks works perfectly & I personally rate them better than my p220 for a while bcoz I took Wego to PBK SVC to bring my p220f from 2nd service – Wego’s suspension set-up worked very well in patholed roads & same time my p220 seems to be bouncing heavily maybe bcoz of its size & dimensions ( Wego weights mere 108kgs).

Coming to styling upfront, Wego is longer than Activa & I almost felt riding it like my ex-FZ. PBK guys were asking me which is this scooter bcoz they had the virtual picture of Activa in their minds so this one was longer with racing-type tyre threads (like Zappers). 2 guys took a small ride & were also impressed with seating & ride characteristics. They both missed Bajaj scooters which they used to service in their hey-days & told me this scooter is very refined – just like p135LS which one of them owned.

Hopefully I will post pics today, its not much raining so I will get it washed & will present u guys with 1st Wego on Xbhp.

Congrats for the first Wego on Xbhp. Please post some pics. I would like to have a test ride of it. Shall we plan to meet on weekend?

The suspension setup of Wego is on softer side and the P220s suspension is hard comparitively; hence, you felt the Wego's better ride quality over potholes. If you ride faster on potholes, the real winner comes out.

Tell your dearest ones to blindly go ahead & take it at one shot, don’t even take a test-ride coz I’m that much sure about my decision about purchasing this product from TVS. I know people will definitely have a doubt about Wego since RTRs have a very good reputation of vibrating issues – this scooter is from another world of TVS, not from where RTRs are manufactured. Wego is future of commuter scootering from TVS.

Having owned it for almost 3years that doesn't bother me. The positives are way too many compared to just a couple of negatives
