Yeah seriously its good.. Having it now for more then 3 months. Its fantastic, very smooth. No probs at all to ride over 80kmph.
Good space underneath the seat, love the external fuel fill.

          Hi All,

Today booked the TVS WEGO for my wife from Ashwini TVS Thane. I wanted to replace my wife's 6 yr old Pleasure with something better and after lot of research had zeroed down to Suzuki Access 125. I had even reached to a point where in I had given the dealer "Riya Suzuki" full amount in cash, but that's when they started to act stupid and I cancelled my deal. You can read more on the same at the link provided below.

Wego was always at the back of my mind but having heard rave comments on the power delivery of Suzuki and the vibration free working of the same, wanted to buy that, also with very less information on the wego present in the forum, I could not decide on buying the WEGO. But as luck would have been - today while dropping my son to his school, saw a lady drive a WEGO, stopped her and asked her about the performance of the bike, even though she was not a enthusiat, she did say that its better than her Activa and hence I decided to take a look at the dealership.

Visited the dealership at around 2:30pm and took a test ride. In the short stint that I had with the scoot, I was more or less floored with its performance and no nonsense handling. Asked my wifey to try out the scoot and she was pleasantly smiling after the test ride. Smile said it all, no feedback asked from her and went ahead and paid the amount for the Scoot. Booked the white colour scoot with on Road mumbai 54300. Asked for the all round crash guard which was additional 1750 for the crash guard, delivery on Dusherra. Now the wait begins.

Will keep this thread alive with ownership experience and more info on the scooter needs to be there on the forum as many prospective buyers probably not finding anything on WEGO in the forum.

My Experience with the dealer ship was really pleasant and would not shy away from recommending Ashwini TVS to anyone.

            Hello xbhp Friends,

I am new to this site.i am from Hyderabad..i hav been planning for a gear less scooter .as i am not a perfect rider in city traffic .i have gone through so many reviews and opinions .finally i decided to own a gear less scooter for my self.my options are
            1 .Honda activa
( the waiting period is 3 months .i cant wait as the current situation in Hyderabad is not good..need a bike to go to office )
            2.suzuki access
(i heard that this bike is not up to the mark ,mileage problems)
            3.tvs wego
(this is better option ..i read many positive review and delivery will be the same day ..)

finally , is it a right decision to buy a wego ???what about mileage ?? maintenance?? can i go for wego ??? please guide me ?? thanks in advance ..waiting for your suggestions

Wego is a better product than the Access 125 although 125 has more power, the handling of Wego with its bike like front forks, 12 inch wheels and the wheelbase, is a better handling scoot. I cannot comment on the maintenance but I am aware of the mileage. My friend who has a wego gets about 40 to 45 kms per litre consistently.

I can only suggest you is go ahead and buy the Wego without any second thoughts. I have done the same and expecting delivery today

The initial experience with Wego has been great. Its a bigger scoot than the HH pleasure that we have. The handling of the scoot is really excellent and feels nimble. I still don't completely understand the body balance thingy in wego but what ever it is I like what I am driving.

Only grouse that I have is the noise. During initial start up (when you are pulling the scoot from standstill) the engine noise is very high. This later settles down to negligible noise but the initial noise is something that I am not liking. Asked the sales person and they said that this noise will be eliminated post 1st service. Anyone else with this noise and which got eliminated??

Thanks bhanumaya - and congrats to you too on your Wego.

The sound that I was talking about is eliminated completely. This was because of the breather pipe on the exhaust not been fitted properly. The clip of this pipe was not present and hence it slipped out making the noise.

                          Hi Wego owners,
If all goes well, I will be joining this thread as an owner in the New Year.
Scooters have changed a lot since Kinetic Honda which most of us have owned/ridden in the heydays. I'm looking forward to owning a 4S auto geared scoot. Reviews for the bike are very smooth engine&good stability due to 12" wheels.

In the meanwhile, I'm glued to the thread so please keep pouring in!

I have a few to start off the talks!
                          1. Is the white color metallic or non-metallic?
                          2. Is the 5L tank capacity enough?
                          3. What is the topspeed of this vehicle&cruising speed? I read somewhere that the best it can manage is 68kmph whereas someone has mentioned it can go over 80kmph!
                          4. How are the telescopic front forks? I've suffered a lot with my Kinetic&later my Fiero's front forks.
                          5. Most importantly, can the scoot take 2 well sized adults? I'm around 72kgs.&my Mum is some 10kgs. heavier than me&we intend to use this for shopping etc. We are used to my sturdy old Fiero so hope this will not disappoint.

                          Awaiting your replies.
                          Quench my thirst with gasoline!

                            Hello fellow Wego Owners,

I am new to this forum and seek help on the vehicle. New to 2-wheelers too, so kinda lost...

has anyone felt vibrations in the front even on smooth roads? My Wego's steering starts moving violently beyond 30 kmph but ok beyond 70kmph. Have started noticing this lately, having crossed 1.5kms. didnt use it much for initial months but since a month my daily commuting exceeds 40kms and im experiencing discomfort. the service centre just passed it off as less air in the tyres, but i came back home and felt the same on smooth roads. a local mechanic says front shock abs are tight and need to be loosened.

just a background on my Wego -
                            - 6 months old, 1800 kms done
                            - was dropped down flat by someone completely on the right side in the first 10 days (would that be causing this problem?havent faced any other problem in first 5 months)
                            - front tyre tube was replaced with authentic TVS tube some 2 months back (didnt realise instantly that the front wheel was punctured, so the riding ended up damaging the tube)

any advice would be greatly appreciated. dont wana get ripped of by local mechanics/service centre guys. thanks

Had a ride of this bike on Saturday&was pleasantly surprised at the handling&bike like behavior, courtesy 12" wheels.
I really loved the seat&the bike didn't lack torque even with a pillion on a slope-something my KiHo used to grumble about.
The engine was smooth as a hot knife through butter-I love it!
Now, TVS has quoted an OTR price of 56.xxx Rs. This includes Miles&Smiles program of some 1600 odd bucks. I had this on my Fiero F2&it hardly made a difference. Still, I felt the price is high-52K was what I was expecting.
Will wait for the Auto Expo to see if any better scoot comes up, else Wego it is!
