Truck carrying loose building materiel - watch out!

Stuff like sand, gravel or even rocks falling out of trucks. You've probably seen it before and were angry at the trucker. Keep a sharp look-out for such inconsiderate morons and stay either way behind them or way ahead of them.

the fan starts working at 96 degrees and off's itself when it cools down to 88 degrees , so when its below 2 bars below cut off it starts and

No Prob Bro. BTW thanks for sharing your observations. It seems to me that the Fan is not working at all, cause yesterday only the temp gauge was showing one bar less than the cutoff and I checked that the Fan was not at all working.

    2. First of all try driving on smooth road. If the road is not smooth(say patch worked roads) one doesn't get feel of same stability at high speeds. But once i found a stretch which was very very smooth and no traffic. Took the bike till 130kmph and the bike was solidly planted. No issues what so ever.

There's one guy in chennai who says that his handle bar in bike starts wobbling after 130kmph. He said there might be little bit of misalignment in the handle bar and tyre.
Thanks for confirming the Fan start/stop operation. However the road where I tested this was smooth and the weird behaviour was present only when I crossed 70+. Will surely ask the SVC to check this issue.

Also when I leave the handlebar at say 50kph(briefly), the bike veers away slightly to the left, which means my cone set is a bit tight.
Correct me if my understanding is wrong here members
Thanks Bro. I will surely check with the SVC.

Yep, we too were said the same during the DIY session. We were also told that the Mixing of different types of coolant is also OK in a crisis condition if the coolants matches each other(in simple words you can say same color). Distilled water can also be used in those situations.

If yes, which brand or Is it better to get it done at the SVC. I'm also unsure whether I should be riding the bike at all, in this condition.

One more question is whether anyone has tried tightening the chain by themselves. I tried it doing it once but the big bolts won't even budge. So gave up.
Does your bike not brake properly? Does it feels very spongy?

u better take it to the SVC as early as possible bro
because heard somewhere that due to improper cooling and due to radiator fan mal function , it resulted in engine seize not all a sole reason , but it lead to engine seizure to an extent .
    correct me if im wrong

The brake fluid is colorless.Thats why u dont see any fluid.dont understand the logic behind it but thats the way it is.you can check the color by opening the rear reservoir cap.i too had the same query but at the time of delivery while doing my pdi.solution is simple.change the fluid to a red colored one.will cost u under 100 bucks.confirmed by the sales guy

The brake fluid is colorless because it is a DOT4 Brake fluid. DOT3 brake fluids are red. AFAIK . More is better in the case of Brake Fluids so I would suggest you to change back to colorless DOT4 brake fluid in case you have already done the change.

@ViperSting You will know when your brakes are out of brake fluid. Its impossible to miss.

Edit: When I say more is better, I mean only upto DOT4. There is a DOT5 Brake fluid too but that we must never use. Thanks Mr.Mountain for the Heads up.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Exactly. In my alomost 70,000kms of run, brake oil was changed once or twice & never had the complain of leaking

Ohhk.. I remember seeing the level of the fluid above the minimum mark through the transparent, circular plastic on the container . Now, that I don't see it set me into panic mode Will open it today and check it just to make sure.

    Anyway, Thanks for the info.
