The company is marketing the bike as a "street bike". That's a positioning done to attract specific set of consumers. Now can a street bike be used for touring? surely it can be! But as it looks like, this bike scores low on rear seat, tank capacity, fiber outer body etc as compared to present touring bikes.Originally posted by shamanthnv View Post

Saw one rider today with a Duke 200. The idle sound is bit of a let down, sounded like a scooty... however i believe post run - in we should get actual details about its overall performance figures of this machine.

Like a scooty? That's odd most of the major car& bike magazines have touted the duke as having a rorty exhaust note...I personally have take 3 test rides on the thing but to be honest I was hardly ever on idle!!! I currently own a FI bike. I can run as low as ~1L in the tank, beyond which bike starts misfiring occasionally indicating low fuel. I think similar will be the lower limit for Duke as well. 4L will be a rather difficult level to maintain with Duke keeping in mind the puny tank capacity.Originally posted by ASSASSIN07 View Post@ owners:
