Tip of the Day

S%#t! He's turning right!!!

Never get caught between a car and an exit. The car ahead seems to be headed straight. Don't overtake if the vehicle ahead will be in a position to turn into your path as it heads for an available exit.

Sorry for OT but this info is very very inaccurate.

Most phones can get a GPS lock even with flight mode activated. It uses data network only to get a GPS lock in lesser time. All GPS locks are primarily directly through satellite. 3G or 2G has no say in how accurate your GPS lock will be. It depends on the sensitivity of the GPS Antennae on your device. So, for best results, switch to flight mode, wait for lock (could take 2-5 minutes depending upon device) and then use a GPS tracker to track your speeds while you concentrate on the road.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

is it so? Then i am sorry for the wrong info... Whenever i try connecting gps my phone connects to the network automatically and then seeks gps.. If i disconnect it from the network the satellite connection also goes... And about the speed, it shows differenent speed every time i check and varies by around 10kmph... Same happened with my earlier n95 and now same result with my SE Satio.. Got to check it again...btw thanx for the info
