reason why iam asking this is coz, my 220 is due for a tyre change. i would like to use the Fz's tyre. even though they are 140/70 and 100/80, they are low profile tyres with more rounded profile so the contact patch will be similar to the present set on 220.more over they are soft compound tyres and weigh much less than the zapper. moreover the grip is awesome.

PS: i don't want zapper or any hard compound tyres.
also the overall radius will be a little smaller so the accelaration will be better, although at the cost of top speed and may be fuel efficiency...
is FZ16's tires available in the market?

Post First Servicing done

Hi All,
First Servicing done at 610 kms. Exhaust note has changed a bit. Now at Okhla PH I PBK service station, they added a small pouch of NANO Energizer with Eng Oil.
NANO ENERGIZER

" Nano spherical ceramic powder manufacturing, Platinum coating tech & nano dispersion & absorption tech developed by Korea Nano Tech Institiute. The combination of Platinum coated ceramic nano powder has great advantage for engine restoration with endurance of high temp, humidity & superior lubrication without side effect. Our spl ceramic is 20 times stronger than steel & platinum is helpful for withstanding high combustion temp in powerful engines."
Imported by Bagga Trade Link.

Any opnion guys??

I think it's good.

Tips on how to ride my P220 after 1st serv?

I have seen them put it too.. don't have any idea if they are beneficial.. but they do charge you for them.

Continue running in procedure of the bike.. at least till another 1000 kms.
I did mine for around 2500 kms.. (started giving incremental bursts of speeds after 1500 kms).

Unhappy Worried !

Hello Payeng,
Ok before 1st serv touched max of 54kmph. Also not continious, just kept opening the throttle for a while & then shutting it. Never crossed 4k rpm & 54kmph.

But after 1st serv
64kmph max but not continous also never crossed 4200 rpm. How much damage I have caused, if any?? I am really worried now. Please reply

I dont think any damage is done per se. I mean, I have a new Pulsar 200 and it has done about 1800kms. till date. Up until the first service I kept it under 4k RPMs and after the first service, I generally take it to 4-4.5k RPM and it has been running like a dream..

So, chill, I don't think there is anything to get worried about RX!

PHEW!
thanks man. now will not take him beyond 62kmph & 4.2k rpm.
Another question
Last night I approached a traffic light very rapidly (within the said limit) so pressed the clutch & shifted down to 1st gear rapidly. The Bike stopped. Pressed the starter, it started. No warning lights appeared. Didnt encouter that Prob after that. Why could have this happened?

Well, that I have no idea about..Probably someone who has the P-220 could answer..But, I am pretty sure it was a normal phenomenon as well.

I mean, come-on these bikes are not SO delicate as to think a 1000 times before riding these (both during and after run-in)..

Jesus Christ !!! You are riding a bike not a cheese block buddy. Don't be so serious about these petty things. Enjoy your ride !!!

I actually have fallen in love with this bike so much that I have started treating it as one of my body part, an extension of myself.
. So thora sa stupidity by me can be ignored
