Nah. That's no way related unless it's ripped or sheared but when there is electricity loss is very well evident. If it happens at very low speeds it's absolutely normal. On a relative RPM check your plugs or blocks in fuel pump or carb.

      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Actually I wouldn't call the 200ns a pulsar. The pulsar legacy has mostly been about the brute raw unrefined ponies aspirated by the mill. That need to tame the bikes power was something that made us keep riding it and abusing it. The NS seems to be calm and composed and with a very linear power delivery, not that it's wrong, it's super cool. But it's very unlike a pulsar in my honest opinion, the hadling and brakes are super , like I said, unlike what pulsar stands for..!!

        Cheers

haha...agree...pulsar is usually the icon associated with engines so mean..they vibrate the entire chassis....the new one is more of a refined ktm cousin...mean...but too smooth...and a lot of eye candy...but its a huge evolution from prev pulsars...charles darwin would be happy

Check your fuel feed once again or see how the plugs are. That will give you an idea.

On lighter note, Darwin rode motorcycles? Ah ah....

My bike will be 6 year old coming Aug. Apparently some a***ole cant digest a Pulsar running nicely for so long years, so he cut the spark plug cable, wiring harness cable, fuel pump cable, tube coming from air box and few other cables in my parking . Our society has cctv installed but its field doesn't cover the area where I park my bike. Moreover it had been unattended since 3 days before I noticed it. SO its difficult to identify the person who did the job.

Now I have rejoined the cables but engine malfunction light is on. It was shutting off when the rpm come below 1.5k, but showed it to Badshah (Bike gurus kothrud), now its running fine (Malfunction light is still on). Dont want to take it to pbk coz the shutting off problem happened two years back too and they kept bike with them for 25 days, injector was replaced and in the end they say it was some wiring ka problem PLUS they charge 200 bucks just to attach diagnostic tool now a days.

My query is, will the bike security alarms like black cat, xenos trigger if someone attempts to cut the wiring of the bike ?? If not, I'm left with an option of installing my own cctv cam in the parking ... I didn't change the wiring harness yet coz this might happen again ...

But I wouldn't suggest revving at red line any vehiclev in 1st, gear. Approx should be 45 to 50~

I don't remember now, long back had posted the top speed of each gear at the rev limiter cut off point. It may be there something on this thread too.

But IIRC with stock tyres it used to cut off at 43-45Kmph in 1st gear, 65-69Kmph in 2nd Gear, 97-99Kmph in 3rd, 115-117Kmph in 4th and 5th never cuts off on the 220 Fi

Theses numbers may be off by a few kmph, trying to remember the exact figures but all these testing was done 5-6 years back

Not bad, 2-3 Kmph jump with the 36T sprocket. Good for touring!

No need to remove the stand, don't lean so much

EDIT: Forgot to update! Still running without a functioning console. Have done close to 3K since it went kaput. Latest problem, the rear brake caliper piston seized . Considering getting Bybre!

Dust accumulation on the piston. Did a complete overhaul removing the pistons and cleaning it up, but it did not work. Now at almost 1L kms, I don't think its a bad thing either.

My KBX brakes bit HARD all this while, I have never till date faced any issues with the rear braking. In fact its been more than accurate until now!
