No it isn't but you can screw it up if it misplaced or missed especially on a FI where wiring *IS* an extension of its nerves. Better get it replaced it from your local SVC for peace of mind and you don't want to undo the tank if you accidentally forgot to join some links.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Whatever happens my bike will run in Fi till 2018.

Why Avengers carb was used and why the bike refused to rev after 4k?

Tell you what FI is an excellent piece of engineering, it's pros far outweight the cons and pros of the carb themselves. But you gotta take one thing into consideration. Yes BAJAJ like most other bike companies are experimenting slowly and steadily with their own technology and their technology counterparts, examples, Kawasaki, KTM other unknown.

Yes the bike is a FI bikes are good, yes they suck sometimes due to the niggling issues, but trust me they aren't that bad when periodically taken care of. Of course people can counter, why is this with BAJAJ and other bikes go smooth even on FI for decades? Well, that's them, but it's BAJAJ for us. Blame BAJAJ? Yes. They need to revamp their service center personnel BIG TIME. And a happy customer is a good word-of-mouth and so on.

But Giftson, tell you what instead spending so 2500 for the setup, try cleaning the stuff and getting the ECU reset and all nitty-gritty she should be just fine. Of course finding the right guy is the dilemma here. But keep niggling them, eventually you will get the right guy.

                  Cheers!

Hopefully my bike shud run fine for next 20k kms without problems.
They dont listen to you and they are too busy with duke(they have AC workshop for them and all good mechs are now KTM mechs).
It hurts when i have money to do some preventive work they simply say loose connection and neglect to replace that part which is RUSTED(relay).
And i have to ride with the fear of getting stranded.
And a guy told me that he can service CONE SET without replacing it and the sound started again after 5k kms ,at that i was ready with cash to change the cone set.
Will update if something happens, and will search good mechs then to repair Fi

Prices down south are always higher than mumbai/pune.
keep the bike with you,40kpl sedate runs can still be managed with 220 !!!

Ah yes I've seen those so called -- for a lack of better term water filter canisters with tubes with it. Personally you can ask those guys in Goa who've installed them.
