Another thing pulsarians...ive jus noticed that there is a thin film of oil on the air cooling fins of the cylinder head...is this some leakage? if it is...any troubleshooting? will I have to open the engine head and re-seal it with liquid gasket?Ride responsibly. You only have one life!

Clean the oil with kerosene or diesel, ride the bike a few more kms and if there is fresh deposit then yes, gasket leak. There are temporary solutions though, Anabond being the most famous one. Apply a layer of anabond, should plug the leak, and get the gaskets changed when you go in for the next service.

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Does a DTS-Fi give better mileage than DTSi?
What are the advantages of DTS-Fi over Carb DTSi? ( Tried to search for this, but I did not find the right answers)
If one had to buy a second hand 220F, at the same price and same condition, what would be recommended? DTS-Fi? or a Carb DTSi ?"Madness", as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push !

The Fi is a great bike, Members here have taken it upto 90k and still running strong.
The Fi gives lesser mileage than the Dtsi, but that is because the Dtsi has a few better feature like bigger and better exhaust, then a big carb, and stuff like that, it is not that it's any problem with the Fi.
The Fi will have a much more crispier throttle response and will be a pleasure to ride.
And in these days would never recommend to buy an Fi, because the SVC just turns a blind eye to it, they are not eager to service that bike because they don't have the diagnostic tools required for servicing or troubleshooting if some problem was to occur, and availability of parts that are exclusive to Fi is a pain to find. Praful will be able to shed more light on this.
I would say, find a decent 220F and test ride it, get it checked with a mech and if satisfied, get it.
Cheers
