    B7R - Yes!

    B9R - No!

B7R is itself a bit difficult with all the wind turbulence it creates, B9R is much more faster so it would be really difficult to overtake one.

Just for a gags, but 3031 calories after riding a motorcycle for 50 KMS is it were just real, (provded at that speed) everyone would turn to motorcycling. How nice it would be, everyone rides motorcycles and everyone's healthy!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      THE END

Sad to post here but I guess this is the end of road for my biking. Unfortunately the bike which ignited the passion for my biking seems to be the reason for the end of it too. Just can't take it anymore. After servicing the bike feels like a 150cc. The main problem is diagnosis. The bike is still good. It's still got the punch & can give others run for thier money. The sheer ignorance of the Servicing executives/mechanics is what taking it's toll. I am now fed up. Writing to Bajaj hasn't helped either because they have just chosen to ignore the legacy of Pulsar. Ironically P220 was what pushed them right at top in the Sports Bike segment category.

At this point in life, I can't just sell it off & buy another one. Simply because I am short of funds. I have bought a car for which there is EMI to be paid & run & maintenance to be incurred. The car company's attitude is far more serious & better than that of Bajaj.

It's the end of road for me as of now as all roads are blocked. Hope the spirit doesn't die out.
Bro dont give up. just convert it to carb and find some local mechanics .After some time get some scooter and keep this is as second ride .
Car plus scooter is sufficient for daily usage.

Converting to carb isnt exactly cheap, will cost almost 10-12K.

Btw, your head is leaking oil and maybe that's why you are getting that smell.

ok i will change the gaskets next month should i change anything other than that.also i doubt that because it was there when i bought this bike but after oil change i didnt find fresh leaks.i have attached a close up pic,see that the leaks are pretty old.
What about the colour of the carbon deposition from exhaust ?
DE-carbonisation is required uh?if so how do they do that in PBK?do they have any machines like car companies?or do they open up the piston?

No need to change gasket, that's a big labor job. Instead get that black plastic cap replaced, and tell them to apply a proper sealant when they change it.

How many kms done? Method of de carb varies from service centre to service centre.

Some open up the engine and do a manual cleaning of the piston and cylinder head, other do it with just engine flush. The opening method is more thorough, but it is also prone to more issues.

This is how they do for all cars and other fuel injected vehicle.
For bikes especially 2 strokes its easy to open the heads so they do that manually.

That would be me. The BLR PBK botched up my Decarb job, though they refused to accept it.

I don't think there is any service for the fuel pump, just keep replacing the fuel filter every 5K kms or lesser if quality of fuel is very bad in your area.

Injector cleaning is recommended every 10K or so kms.

its not necessary unless your performance has gone down.
especially if its a hondas engine .Its because i find too much carbon deposits i was thinking of decarb job.
I knew many splendours which has done 1l kms without decarb job.

No but knew people who have tried this and they are satisfied .
Actually we had an lab experiment about injector cleaning and its quite simple so if SVC is not helping then takeit to an car or lorry garage they might help you.its like taking the injector out and placing it in an machine and give some pressure and fuel to it and check th output for fine spray

All fuel injected vehicles need injector cleaning.

On the 220 its anywhere from 10-20K.

                                Yes tried it.

                                No positive effects noticed.

Infact I felt the bike ran a little rough, but that could be due to any issue.
