yep... initially... even if I put my bike on idling for 2-3 mnts. If I keep it in low revs, it feels normal but as soon I try to speed up it bike doesn't respond & feels like dying. This happens for 1 mnt after that everything is normal.Originally posted by Praful View Post"HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

.ok I didn't see these posts. My problem is same as that of truelypulsarian. I got my Fuel Filter Changed, Air filter cleaned, engine oil changed. Throttle body cleaned too.Originally posted by Praful View Postyea thats coz its not yet warmed up. This should not happen on a warm engine. If it happens on a warm engine then you have a problem
And yeah psycho behaviour is common.. Its a Pulsar... if it doesnt behave like a gf then its not a Pulsar
Visually there is no way. As a thumbrule change it every 5K kms.
I didn't noticed this problem earlier. I don't ride my bike just after cranking up if it has been on rest for more than an hour. I always keep the bike on idle for atleast a minute or more & then ride. Have to get the tank cleaned of water, if any. Will also ask them to check the fuel hose pipes.
Keep you guys posted"HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

here we don need to leave our bikes in rain to have those problems....Originally posted by Praful View PostWater can be a cause, but this would happen only if the bike has been standing in pouring rain for days.
petrol bunk guys takes care of that
here only government bunks have pure petrol
,if u fill else where for a year and never empty your tank or clean pipe lines..
u ll definitely get stuck of that problem someday somwhere!!
i have a question!!!
in my previous bikes after i fill water or diesel or kerosene mixed fuel from some bunks i used to empty my fuel and drain carb fuels and bike used to run like it had no problem....but now in fi bike will it harm fi system??
I stay away from those private pumps but if someday i have to fill it then??
yes!!
pbk centers will clean fi but will it harm fi systm or ruin its life???

any fuel or substances that substitutes fuel will definitely harm the fi.the fi system of petrol vehicles can pump only petrol effectively and efficiently. nothing else. pbk centres will clean the injectors. and connect the bike to a diagnostic tool and correct the co% ratio.Originally posted by robean-gyalchen View Posthere we don need to leave our bikes in rain to have those problems....

Is ur fuel injection on the bike all right ? simple service can be done at other bajaj service centres too. one good thing about these mechanic guys is that if they dont know anything about a certain part they dont even touch it. ofcourse there are mech's who are as nosy idiots. do tell us what problems ur bike has.Originally posted by vishy123 View PostHi all,

one question here!!!
our bike don't have autochoke. am i right or is mine not working??and my side indicator don't cut off auto?

since this was my brothers bike and im riding it now
so i dont know if its broken or not!
coz newer version have those kinda facility, even 150 pulsars
.
and about pbk...here pbk and bajaj svc are same so whenever i go to get serviced they say either mech is not available or he is bg!!
so its been more than 3 months ive serviced!!
and kms wise its just been 1200kms
so iam not worried much
but i dont know what is my co% setting and havent cleaned fi system since 3rd servicing!!at third servicing it was 3.0.
other things like engine oil, throttle body cleaning, fuel pump replacement, air filter cleaning or replacement etc..i've been doing with my fathers mech

but i dont know what to do about co settings
and i ve been getting mileage <28

so @vishy123
i think u can find another one there,or anybody here will surely help u find it.until that u can do as i've been doing!Last edited by robean-gyalchen; 12-06-2010, 02:24 PM."Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts."

Neutral Light Blinking - Help
Guys - Help Needed
I am facing a weird problem on my 220.. this problem showed up about a year back.. noticed it after a tour of 400 kms where i ripped the bike hard.. taking it to its limits.. the neutral light started blinking when ripping.. slowly it started to be more bothersome even in normal conditions..
things came to head when the neutral light stayed on even in gears.. with the engine turned off.. every time i went and got it checked, it wud be solved and in three to four days, the problem slowly creeped back ..
around 5 months back i got seriously pissed off at the PBK mechanic and he kept the bike for around 2 or 3 days.. I called up Mr. Rahul Hawaldar at Bajaj Pune.. and he called the local Bajaj engineer based at Ahmedabad.. finally, i realized that in the 2 or 3 days when my bike had been at PBK service station, it had not at all been touched.. and the problem was solved within 5 mins once the mechanic opened it up...
later on i realized that he knew what the problem was.. and how to solve it.. but he was intentionally not solving the issue for good.. he gave some bullshit about waiting to see to what extent i went and what i would do next.. said that he felt bad that i contacted the authorities further up at Bajaj Pune and that i had not discussed it with him even when we were on good friendly terms..
but i seriously doubt.. that there was an ulterior motive behind all this bulls**t.. he was using the bike whenever i kept it for a couple of days for personal use.. on the pretext of checking it out on the highways...
the problem has started again.. occasionally after hard ripping, the neutral light wud intially start blinking,, and then over a few days stay constantly on... i have noticed that after the bike cools down.. the problem goes away till the bike is warmed up again (in present case, till its heated).. which makes me believe that the problem may be occurring when the engine is heated...
has anyone faced a similar problem with their bike ?? and if so, how was it solved..
i have lost all my faith in PBK mechanics.. at least i wont keep my bike there for an extended period of time .. at least not overnight... i am more than certain that they replace parts, and i simply dont want to risk it..
hope someone has an answer to my query.. ??
thanks..

never heard of this problem. Is there any drop in performance or do you really feel unusual amount of excess heat from engine??Originally posted by ninjyeah View PostGuys - Help Needed

while ripping, yes, i do feel there is some extra heat .. even tho the problem is not present all the time right now, but the last time i experienced the problem, the neutral light used to stay on irrespective of which gear the bike is in... even when starting bike for the very first time in the morning...Originally posted by rx100.7050 View Postnever heard of this problem. I m not sure if its a problem with the neutral light switch.. the last time the mechanic solved the problem for good.. it was gone for at least three or four months.. he had opened up the aluminum cover housing the coil.. just near the gear shift.. and had fiddled around a bit for max 5 mins.. and replaced the cover.. dunno wot he did though...Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View Post^^^ Have you tried replacing the neutral light switch? Because this seems tobe an electrical problem and other than Neutral light switch, I could'nt imagine any other cause.
