Simple ask the owner about the previous service records. Also check if the bike sounds normal or different noises are coming from engine. Or all in all take the bike to PBK or any mechanic.Originally posted by bobrox View Post
P.S: Please donot go by looks, I mean looks do matter but most of the bikes which are good in looks and mods have a busted engine.

While starting my bike sometimes there's a loud clanking sound (like someone dropped a wrench into a mixer). This happened 2-3 times during the last week, any idea what could cause this and what is the fix?Comment

Starter motor clutch springs might have broken!Originally posted by shaktisingh View Post
Need to go to PBK and get the springs replaced.
PS: This is not a uncommon problem. Happens some every 25K kms. Mine have broken twice!_________________________
