My bike does 5k+ without service easilllly when running on 300v. I don't understand whats the need for a service every 2.5k. Nothing seems to go wrong even if I do double that interval.Originally posted by Mik View PostAre all the 4 year old 220s only the red ones

Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Mine has done 8K Kms on 300V, that included the Ladakh ride as well!
Mine gets a mini-service every 1-2K kms. Got a hit somewhere under the chassis on a low median, exhaust note has changed immediatly so a wild guess it cud be Exhaustec chamber which had a hit. Can it be fixed?

Got a problem since my front sprocket was cleaned. The guy opened whole gear changer lever to clean it.
Now when I ride and want to change gear, say from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4rth it doesn't change. I mean I shift the lever up well, still the gear remains same. I mean it doesnt go to next gear. Its happening only sometime and not often. (then i shift down and then again shift up) WHat could be the reason behind it?2000 - Hero Honda Splendor
