hey folks..how much clutch plate and headlight assembly cost?how much the cover of the headlight costs?and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Once again congrats!.. AFAIK Sirac is the best rear tyre for 220.. The michelin100/80 Pilot sporty is great in grip especially for cornering but on straight lines with little big rocks and differential/uneven road surface this tyres swivels/pulls the steering in its a direction for a mm but the bike regains control immediatly with the tall and heavy sirac..Originally posted by Praful View PostOn 16th November my bike completed 4 years
A few special moments of my bike...
P220 Fi \m/
PS: Got the Pirelli Sport Demon front and its absolutely kickass. Last weekend on a ride there was one raised bump in the road where I had a Isle of Man TT moment with the bike flying over the bump and only the rear wheel on the ground at some 100 kmph.. When the front landed, the grip from the PSD was so immense that bike corrected its line immediately!
Headlight Assembly cost was somewhere around 2.7k last July.Originally posted by sayank10 View Posthey folks..how much clutch plate and headlight assembly cost?how much the cover of the headlight costs?_________________________________________________

Do let me know how good is the pirelli for offroading - or do you have any other suggestion. I am looking for a front tyre change this weekend.

Yet to take it out for hardcore offroading, but considering the awesome state of Bengaluru roads I can definitely say that the tyre is pretty good.Originally posted by Mik View PostCongratulations :-)

They tyre held pretty well in blind turns in the hills where you suddenly find gravel at the entry of a corner!
I can confidently say that its a perfect compliment to the Sirac!_________________________

900 is not really that low, I don't know what is the threshold temperature after which it starts flashing though.Originally posted by ryder_boney View Posti got an question to guys owning 220, did anybody's bike ever flashed an 'high oil temp' or 'low oil' warning icons? recently i had an unscheduled oil change, the oil drained out was barely 900 ml and my bike never warned me of it!
dose those icon really work or just an gimmick?_________________________

Yes, I had an issue after an 800km ride , and nearly 700 completed ,,the engine oil low level indicator started blinking... Topped up and never ever sowed up again...Originally posted by ryder_boney View Posti got an question to guys owning 220, did anybody's bike ever flashed an 'high oil temp' or 'low oil' warning icons? recently i had an unscheduled oil change, the oil drained out was barely 900 ml and my bike never warned me of it!

^^ it's the truth praful, when a motorcycle is stolen in&around chennai. Unsuprisingly It will be stripped and sold here..
The Edge/tail of the exhaust is missing in the exhanged(new) one. I was not sure why I needed it so ignored the absence and got it.Last edited by yuv_biKING; 11-28-2011, 06:18 PM._________________________________________________

had i word with service engg. he told me that the oil circulates to 'cooler' back forth till its 135 deg temp. once it breaches that the high temp icon flashes. in theory, at least!Originally posted by Praful View Post900 is not really that low, I don't know what is the threshold temperature after which it starts flashing though.
i'd ridden my bike for ~300 kms with low oil. could feel the vibe and knocking.Originally posted by Ivin View PostYes, I had an issue after an 800km ride , and nearly 700 completed ,,the engine oil low level indicator started blinking... Topped up and never ever sowed up again...

btw, any guess how much oil was left in your engine at that time(according to the oil required to top up)?
a funny thing i tried while changing the oil, after draining the oil out of the engine, i switched the ignition key to 'on' & and kept it 'on' for coupe of minutes but that icon sill dint flashed.
enng says the sensors observe for longer than that before flashing.
