The Vibes and knocking will *not* be due to low oil, if that was really the case your bike's engine would have ceased!Originally posted by ryder_boney View Post
The sensors will actually fire up once the engine is fired! So that's why it did not show up for you.Originally posted by ryder_boney View Post
Sadly, Nope. The Fi version has been discontinued! Why?Originally posted by nelson_sanjoy1 View Post

Stock and FZ tyre have the same speedo readings.Originally posted by ajinkya View PostPraful
any speedo error showing when compared to the stock front , fz front tyre and the irc front when you compare it with the psd
IRC Wildflare under reads by about 2 Kmph
PSD I'm still figuring out, but it seems to under read by about 1 Kmph
Welcome back!Originally posted by nelson_sanjoy1 View PostPraful ,
Thanks and you are right - I still have the same...
I do remember you'd tried helping me a lot with house hunting about 3 years back

Many many congrats for completing the milestone. You have really tested the bike's ability. I have completed 55k+. Quite satisfied with it's performance. I am experiencing oil consumption issue, though. Will get priston rings changed.Originally posted by Praful View PostOn 16th November my bike completed 4 years
A few special moments of my bike...
P220 Fi \m/
PS: Got the Pirelli Sport Demon front and its absolutely kickass. Last weekend on a ride there was one raised bump in the road where I had a Isle of Man TT moment with the bike flying over the bump and only the rear wheel on the ground at some 100 kmph.. When the front landed, the grip from the PSD was so immense that bike corrected its line immediately!"HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

Try with piston rings, if that does not work then block-piston-kit!

There might be no "220", could me more or lesser even. The engine's are rumored to be all new ground up!
I don't think so, that was the case 2 years when the 220 Dts-i was still new and they were letting the 220 Fi stocks get over.Originally posted by bhai View PostI also got information from Bajaj showroom that new P 220 FI is still avialable. But on order basis._________________________

Hey guys,
Has any 220 Fi owner's used the new Bajaj engine oil which is supposedly synthetic. It's being claimed that change of engine oil should be done at an interval of 1000kms or so with top up in between."HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

While changing the clutch plates of my fi at 20 k kms i didnt have enough money to buy motul FS. Right from the 5k kms on the odo i started using MOTUL FS so just for the temporary purpuse i used that oil it was not bad oil at all as per my experience gear shifts are fine, smooth and peppy engine response & can easily lasts even up to the 2k kms when driven sanely.Originally posted by rx100.7050 View PostLOL!!! My love for my bike increased to a new level yesterday. I did a ride from Pune to Chennai in 18 hours including all breaks in my 3+ years old 35k + kms run 220 . Not to forget the luggage I carried along. Bike performed flawlessly not even a single problem. It was an awesome highway ride.
