An update on this problem. Turns out the stator assembly had to be changed. The mech showed me the old coil which had gotten burnt at one place. Bike is up and running :-)Originally posted by Mik View Post

who was the one i met with at khairtabad X-Road (Hyderabad), 2 hrs back(nearly 12:30Am-1:00AM) . he was on black pulsar (200 or 220) with r-15's fairing, vega shadow helmet..... forgot his xbhp user name till the time i reached home.... lol ........

My friend had got the Engine oil overheat sensor instead of the Engine overheat sensor.
But luckily for me the actual sensor also arrived in Autoservice yesterday, so changed/changing both now. Sadly bent my front alloy this morning on the highway

Back from 9 days of 3300 KMs Mega Maharashtrian Monsoon Ride..

Praful, how much did both the sensors cost..??
Man, there's a krrr....krrrr..... sound while pressing the self ... It aint the battery problem, is it starter clutch..??Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

The engine oil overheat sensor is bout 80 bux and the Engine overheat sensor is bout 500 bux.Originally posted by Ivin View Post

Yes, the low battery flashes at times.. Hasnt done anything with the battery for the past 3 years and 30k kms( I meant charge or change acid ). May be , its time to change the battery .
