First take the meter off from the bike,, Unscrew it (5 screws i guess.,forgot).... You can see 5 more screws there which connects only the layout,,, the gray thing... Dts-Fi had black and later white dials.... Go to Bajaj showroom or used parts selling shop.. They will have a new p220's meter... Buy it.(I bought a damaged one since I need only the dial and that too for Rs.200)...
Go and put the dial in the old meter... Mission completed.... If you have any friends in Bajaj showrooms,, ask them if they have a new p220's meter(damaged)... They will definitely have it.... The dial will not be damaged even if the LCD and outer cover is ..... Thats the way... Its a simple job....

Rs.2800 including alloys at bajaj service centre.... You can get it done outside under 2k... But, I recommend to paint the 'engine' from the service centre itself.... All others your choice....

          • I like the silver alloys than the black..always stick to stock condition ( it is dtsfi's identity from others Only my view
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

            • ya, silver is the identity.. But, I never saw my bike in silver alloys and engine.may be my father did see it when he went to book it... Personally , I liked black theme at that time.. And there were no news of the p220 dtsi coming with black theme at that time.. the black theme made my bike look different from other p22's at that time, but not now..
