HI.. I see that you are from Bangalore. Where do you leave your bike for service or is it safe to go elsewhere apart a PBK center? Can you please tell me where and which brands of Chain clensers and Lube's to go for. I am rookie when it comes to shopping things for my Bike. Please advice me on this..!!

RaviKiran's IRC has a slightly larger profile-it is 120/90/17". I guess he will go for this one next!
But, his bike feels great in cornering&off-roading too.

But why does it require change in the first place!? And I believe even if the whole set of wiring and relay needs a change, it must be done under warranty, provided your machine IS still under one!

              • hey guys i had a fall on my 220 today.. Was going to college today morning, i just going at around 70kmph on an wide open road when the scorpio in front applied brakes suddenly. I panic braked and fell. I did not get hurt except a few scratches on my hand. The bike crash guard got bent and i bent it back there only.. But the left fairing is a good 1inch by 5 inch scratched.. I feel that crash guard is weak as it got cent so easily and gave way for fairing..
So is only the right fairing panel available? Or should i just touch up with paint?

Just take it to a good painter. he'll use some stuff(lappam i guess) to smoothen the surface and repaint it again. should'nt cost more than 300bucks.

AFAIK 220 fairing is available as a whole set!

I was thinking of doing that. But my concern is, wont the paint be discontinuous at that area with the other area?

This is the advantage with Black.....my friedn had a crash in his p150. His faring and rear panel was badly scratched. We just repainted it, it was as good as new and we could'nt spot the diff!

Just take it to a good painter. Else if you have the moolah. then get a new one.

                          • Guys, got new rubber for my Beast!
                            IRC NR57 120/80-17" 61S. It cost me 2300 INR + 100 INR Labour charge.

Intial Review: After moving on from my TOTALLY Bald Zapper-C , i feel the IRC to be simply awesome, terrific, mind-blowing and what not . I was trying all the possible lean angles and positively no sign of the bike loosing control or wobbling although it has very poor handling. The tyre is very confident inspiring on the curves . I could Downshift, Accelerate and Brake Hard with ease even on the edge of the rubber . I couldnt test the braking part and wet grip of the tyre as oil has spilled on my rear disc . So couldnt exploit the tyre's true potential . Will repost when my rear brakes become functional.

PS- The same tyre can be found on some of the new P220 DTS-i's.

                            Here are a few Pics.

A new fairing costs approx Rs.1800. I've got a similar scratch on my 220's fairing. Was thinking of repainting it but not confident that any of the painters can do a good job since mine is blue. Black should not have that problem.

How about the Royal Enfield's Crash Guard? Iam sure you wouldnt repent after having a crash with those to protect the fairing.
