No, this news is not true. At least not to my knowledge. Moreover, what benefits would one achieve through this? There are a lot of changes to the DTSi. Simply converting Fi to Carb wont do any justice.Originally posted by mitesh_singh View PostNever argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

I need to buy a Nighty
(bike cover) for my DTS-I. Its been standing in rain for the past 2 days. Enquired in PBK they quote 500rs for the cover. Any other option available guys?
Yes, you can surely use that. Better, use the OKS spray.Originally posted by onlinesatish View PostAnd can we use SAE 90 grade oil for the chain?Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

get your throttle body. air filter & Oil filter checked. One of these may be the primary reason for your problem.Originally posted by Sak8 View PostToday finally it was my turn after waitin n fried in scorching sun....

Originally posted by chetanpulsarGuys... I want a little advise .... my bike's warranty is expiring this Oct 15th.... and my silencer is the old type one.... running for the last 12k kms. Now I know that it wont last much, so I want to somehow want to get it replaced under warranty. If I don't do that I'll have to shell out around 7k for it later when it goes kaput.
Any suggestions or ideas as to how to damage the muffler or make the silencer into 2-pieces from the joint of the can, without actually making any visible physical damage.....??
Any innovative idea is welcome
.

ok it goes like dis.....
first damage the can by joint{dis is most important step damage it like it had met many accidents before...} so that it dont break out instantly....
it should be connected hardly....
take one of ur frnd on his other bike to pbk ull have to pretend he is stranger.

oh my god when u are talking to pbk people about ninja booking a stranger whammed ur silencer away.....
u made that stranger to pay for that(obviously ur stranger ur money
){this is optional stranger can run away but its risky...}
then u claim for warranty.....

ok i knw this is stupid idea but worked for my frnds hunk he hehe

p.s.- stranger must be fully conscious and in control otherwise he wud ram ur bike off the main stand.. angle of collision is ur choice but i suggest it must be frm back side....
I SUGGEST YOU INSTEAD OF DIS JST TAKE BASEBALL BAT AND BLOW OUT THE JOINT OF CAN... IT WUD LOOK LIKE ACCIDENT BY BIKE OR SOME THING....

THIS IS SO PAINFULL TO WHAMM UR BIKE BY UR HANDS....

.... I dont want to make any kind of physical damages to the silencer.... but break it into 2-pieces (that is what happens when it breaks automatically due to low quality manufacturing). Am trying to claim warranty here not insurance.

1)dono y but its the feeling that they wanna increase performance.... see bajaj(kinda brainy guys) i mean the engineers...
2) they have put in a fi which is not programmable(or they say so)even if its programmable, and it gets spoilt we have no choice but to get a new one.instead of remapping
.... there goes our window of opportunity right thru our arses...
3)anyways..putting in a carb , k&n filter , and jetting... so increase in performance...My BiKe DoEsN't LeAk OiL, iT mArK's ItS TeRriToRy !

Help neede urgent!!!!!!!!
Guys just got call from pbk.
there is malfunction in throttle body{around rs1500/-} and roll over sensor..
they said i have to pay for roll over sensor although throttle body will be covered under warranty.
i asked why roll over{rs 152/-} sensor is not included in warranty i got no satisfactory answer.
i have to go there tomorrow morning to get my Pegasus back.
my question is- should i pay for sensor?
and if this was the problem why did my bike was kept for 3 days.
i told him to check throttle body when rx100 suggested me to get that checked(thnx bro u was right}and mechanic said its ok there is nothin wrong with it..
and is there any way to check that the parts are really being replaced??
ALSO SOME KEY POINTS TO CHECK BEFORE TAKING THE BIKE...
THANKS...
