yes u can use diesel ....lubing once every 700 kms might not be sufficient ..... lube once every 450-500....would do better... depends on road conditions..wet or dusty or humid...

not much idea regrading that...see co is carbon monoxide... u kno it... by tuning that how would top end increase ?? so........

get ur throttle body cleaned... like i said maintain other factors like tyre pressure and things properly....

practically it might be possible.... but as my knowledge goes there is a pump to pump the oil thru the oil cooling fins ....... i think we have to change the oil pump also ( to a bigger one or better one).... something i would not do coz it placed inside the engine... what have u thot off regarding it ?

correction.. CO is carbon monoxide. thats true. but adjusting/tuning the CO means that u are adjusting AFR. see, the actual AFR during intake cant be determined so it is related to the amount of CO produced after the combustion of the fuel. More the CO more the petrol intake. lesser the CO lesser the petrol intake. if the petrol intake is less there is a good possibility of not touching the top end. so, yes the CO adjustment affects the top end. Ofcourse there are a few other factors also.

Coming to throttle body cleaning. when u clean it, u are freeing it of dust and the carbon deposits. since there is no more obstruction to the flow, more petrol goes in. hence the AFR increases effectively.

Ok, so let me get this straight, are you trying to say that since the throttle body has deposits there is an obstruction to the flow of the Air-Fuel mixture?

and secondly the AFR is a ratio, the rate of flow of the air-fuel mixture will not affect the ratio.

Thirdly, did you know Bajaj themselves do not recommend cleaning the throttle body.

And finally, the throttle body cleaning has nothing to do with AFR. Its cleaning is done so the butterfly valve can open freely and its not 'sticky'.

                    • I don't much about it but after cleaning the throttle body & changing the spark plugs my bike is responding well. Before that, there was a feeling of delayed response. When the mechanic was cleaning the throttle body, good amount of deposit was cleaned

+1. Only if the butterfly valve is sticky, throttle body cleaning should be done.
