    1. I am almost 6 ft. I have never found the 220 to be uncomfortable. The riding position needs getting used to. Though the seats are split, the rider seat is long enough to allow a fore and aft movement while normal riding and most importantly, while cornering (to shift weight bias). I do not feel that this should be an issue. Knees caressing/scraping the fairing edge is possible but not very concerning.

    2. The Fi gives a fuel economy raging from 25 when ridden a la race track style, to 52 (inflammable got this figure...highest recorded in my knowledge). Depends on how you ride.

The DTS-i is the newest kid on the block...dont miss it
    Thanks Man. Advice Taken.

But my question to the mods still remains unanswered.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

        1) I am 6'1 and i think i had read somewhere that on a P220, tall riders' knees scrape the fixed fairing and somehow I feel that will be very discomforting on long rides. Split seats means i cannot just shift backwards on the seat.
Is there any truth in the problem or is it just another "made up" P220 problem.

P.S.: I have never ridden a P220 in my life so don't have 1st hand experience.
@Mods: Why couldnt you keep the same thread for 220dtsi ownership. U ppl are much more experienced than the people in DTSi Thread. We will end up finding most of the solutions to our problems here rather than over there. (if i do go for DTSi not FI)

        Please do respond.
well bro...congratz....as i am sure the 220 will surely impress much more than any other bike.as per your question let me clariy from my view..

*my height is about 6'3 n wieght about 86 kgs.although my knee do touch the fairing but it never obstacled or was a problem for riding.have done about 400km long trip till now without any knee hassle or uncomfort.also split seat isnt any problem rather on highspeed n braking its better fit for A**

*at this height of fun i dont think u shud care much abt average/mileage .but mine is giving about 34-39.when ripped it goes down to about 26 or 30 i think. at this point going for an fi or si is really your choice.both gives you fun..but si as i have experiences is more fun after 60kmph.completely private opinion cud be different.

*well abt thread separation.tht cud be asnwered by mods...

Don't expect any radical changes in braking after using a DOT4 brake fluid! I've tried it and there was no noticable change in overall braking performance.

Let me know if you face any improvement with handling. I've done the same in my bike too...
Hey Praful, the mechs here at the SVC just piss me off like anything. First I had to wait so long to get the bike repaired. I had told them repeatedly to put 10ml more in the forks but they were scared that the seals might break. So they have just put 5ml extra. No changes in the handling. The braking has improved marginally. Better feedback from the front tyre I guess. Attached a few pics of my previously bashed up motorcycle.

Hows your bike behaving? Still guzzling petrol?

Damn! Looks scary man....you're damn lucky you did not have to ride at night!

I've put in 10ml extra and still observing if there is any noticeable improvement.

I go with what the PBK is using, but when I tried the DOT4 brake fluid it was from TVS Girling.

                            • After owning the bike for a period of 8 mths the first part that is replaced on my Bike
The low beam indicator got spoilt a couple of days back
Had to get it replaced costed 550 bucks..
                              That was quite shockin
But considering that i havent had any problems bfore that
                              it seems quite ok
