the fi isnt available afaikOriginally posted by antz.bin View PostHey guyz..
2) The newer P220 DTSi owners on the ownership thread keep coming up with average in the range of 25-32 kmpl. Should i rather go in for the FI? Really confused.
Please do respond.

well bro...congratz....as i am sure the 220 will surely impress much more than any other bike.as per your question let me clariy from my view..Originally posted by antz.bin View PostHey guyz.. I am going to book a P220 DTSi as soon as the Nasik PBK gyz give me a test ride. My only concerns right now are:
1) I am 6'1 and i think i had read somewhere that on a P220, tall riders' knees scrape the fixed fairing and somehow I feel that will be very discomforting on long rides. Split seats means i cannot just shift backwards on the seat.
Is there any truth in the problem or is it just another "made up" P220 problem.
2) The newer P220 DTSi owners on the ownership thread keep coming up with average in the range of 25-32 kmpl. Should i rather go in for the FI? Really confused.
P.S.: I have never ridden a P220 in my life so don't have 1st hand experience.
@Mods: Why couldnt you keep the same thread for 220dtsi ownership. U ppl are much more experienced than the people in DTSi Thread. We will end up finding most of the solutions to our problems here rather than over there. (if i do go for DTSi not FI)
Please do respond.
*my height is about 6'3 n wieght about 86 kgs.although my knee do touch the fairing but it never obstacled or was a problem for riding.have done about 400km long trip till now without any knee hassle or uncomfort.also split seat isnt any problem rather on highspeed n braking its better fit for A**
*at this height of fun i dont think u shud care much abt average/mileage
.but mine is giving about 34-39.when ripped it goes down to about 26 or 30 i think. at this point going for an fi or si is really your choice.both gives you fun..but si as i have experiences is more fun after 60kmph.completely private opinion cud be different.
*well abt thread separation.tht cud be asnwered by mods...
read somewhere tht its available still on special orders,,,dunno if its trueOriginally posted by gauravbalu View Postthe fi isnt available afaik

Don't expect any radical changes in braking after using a DOT4 brake fluid! I've tried it and there was no noticable change in overall braking performance.Originally posted by rahul9985 View Posthii guys... iam rahul, new to xBhp and this community.. my bike(P220 FI) is 6 months old and has run 9.7k kms.. i get a mileage of 37-43 depending on the riding conditions... no problems till date..

Hey Praful, the mechs here at the SVC just piss me off like anything. First I had to wait so long to get the bike repaired. I had told them repeatedly to put 10ml more in the forks but they were scared that the seals might break. So they have just put 5ml extra. No changes in the handling. The braking has improved marginally. Better feedback from the front tyre I guess. Attached a few pics of my previously bashed up motorcycle.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostToday....damn!!!!!
Let me know if you face any improvement with handling. I've done the same in my bike too...
Hows your bike behaving? Still guzzling petrol?

I've put in 10ml extra and still observing if there is any noticeable improvement.
Are you sure you lost it, PBk guys remove it while washing sometimes and then conveniently forget to put it back!Originally posted by flyingabhi View Posthi guys
