      1) Spark Plugs needs to be changed @ every 10,000 kms. It is mentioned in the manuals too.
      2) Do get the throttle body cleaned @ every 10,000 kms. Insist on it.

serious problem..... i mean on the roads.... we pray nothing else goes wrong.... kindly tell me when ur servicing is done.... how many kms done.. and when the next service is supposed to be done.... ajmer to jaipur eh ? dusty conditions ??

          spark plugs cleaned
          sensors are proper..u say.

          then
          get throttle body cleaned.
kindly check for rust in tank....just a precaution
get ur ecu checked once again....
          anything can be responsible...
better go for an overall checkup...

again took the bike to probiking. showed to another technician there, he again checked everything from the sensors to spark plug and then found out that the fuel filter was partially clogged. he told me its because of the dust, the rubber tube connecting the filter to the tank was also partially damaged. so replaced both the things. the bike was then made to run on roller bench at speeds of above 120kmph for 15 min non stop.the bike didnt stall. now the bike feel a little bit more responsive than before.i hope the problem is cured.

                  • PBKs these days seem to be getting worse. I went to the FC PBK on last Monday to get my bike washed and the plugs cleaned. Reached PBK at 8:45 AM and it was almost 9:30 AM when someone made a job card. Frustrating wait and even more when the supervisors pay no attention.
Since my work was minor, requested the supervisor to give me priority; it makes no sense in making a customer wait for a wash and plug cleaning job for the entire day. Fortunately he understood the point and asked the washing bay to take my bike on priority. The washing person, as usual walked to my bike, started it before the pump primed (am used to it now; wonder why Bajaj advises otherwise). After getting my bike to the wash bay, this intelligent *^!@#%!@ powerslides my 220 to get it aligned properly.
After that he starts the wash and in no time has the soapy solution applied all over. From distance, I can see that he has missed spots everywhere. I point it out to him and he simply proceeds. After what seems like 5 minutes, my bike is washed, started (again without the priming) and taken to the ramp where she is made to stand in the blaring hot sun.
I get behind the PBK manager to get the plugs cleaned. Again some intelligent #%$@&^ turns up starts the bike and revs it hard...On strong objection and with the display of my right fist, he shuts the throttle and takes the bike inside, cleans the plugs and puts out my bike for delivery. The total bill in Rs. 67.00.
On reaching home, when I inspect every nook and corner, I find out that he has not washed it at all. Mud still clinging to the rear mudguard (inside), over the main stand, over the oil cooler, gearbox, engine mounts, swingarm...everywhere.
End result? I put a hose and wash my 220 all over again. This time much cleaner than what those %$&%&^% could manage.

These incidents have been consistently eroding my faith in PBK...the only large hitch in Bajaj Auto's commercial success.
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Heh, now that's an original. Just like going from carb to FI isn't really easy, it's not a straight forward thing to convert an FI engine to carb. It can definitely be done, no question about that. But why would Bajaj convert their existing FI product to carb? More over the FI is still available from the showrooms.

My guess is that it's non-sense.
